  1. Lose of gear (will limit the game)

One thing I feel happens when developers see comments like these and think they have to act on it is that in the end it changes their vision too much. Then the game becomes generic. EFT is brutal. The world feels dreadful every time I go in it. So much so that the anxiety from wanting to find a way out and knowing that it all can end in a literal split second is what makes this game it's own....but not really just that, even. Those are just the core features of this game. Another part to this is planning. Buy a map and put it in your gamma container so it can't be lost. Familiarize yourself with the map in offline mode so when you go in live you will have a good feel for the land. Also, you have to decide if you want to partner up with friends or randoms before entering a match. You must also decide weather you bring just a pistol and maybe a couple extra full clips or if you're gonna go all out and bring a bunch of medical supplies and a couple assault rifles or shotgun as well. The guy with the shotgun is almost always going to kill the guy who just comes in with a pistol. It's a risk you have to take. I got the EOD edition so I started with a few guns and a bunch of health supplies, as well as a large bag with more slots for loot. I died immediately and lost my bag and chest rig as well as everything that was in both. Matter of fact I died about three more times before I really decided to think things through. My next match I went to the woods location with just a pistol, two clips, and a couple medical supplies. I ran up on this guy just hiding behind a tree (I don't even know what he was thinking) and by the time he saw me I had already let 6 rounds off on my little Russian pistol and he shot me one good time with an AK-74U. My heart was racing a mile a minute. I ran and hid in some tall grass to bandage myself up, which I'd never done before and had to figure out how to stop blood loss. Then I heard AK's going off in the distance and literally laid in that grass for the next three or four minutes before I thought it was safe to loot the guys body I'd just took out. That's when I found that he had not only an AK but also a bunch of other loot he'd clearly taken from the woods different lootable areas. I took it all and headed for extraction. It took me another twenty minutes to reach the exit safely, but when I completed the level and made it out with all that loot it felt so rewarding. Are their tweaks and improvements to be made? Of course there is, but they have something special as it stands.
