i think some people are getting too nitpicky with the guns. one little thing is off (something that 99% of people wont notice) and they point it out :/

i mean i get it, its uspposed to be realistic so people want every tiny detail to be exactly how it is in real life but cmon

"This gun is missing one screw here!

Bleurgh! It's so unrealistic!

It has only 35 screws instead of 36! This game sucks!

Devs did their jobs wrong! Never seen worse weapon!

I think i just gonna go and play some CoD/BF right now to have endless org*sms about weapon design!

Just watch the low recoil! It's next-gen thingy!

Forgot about EFT and come play this game instead!

Way too better!"

Yeah mate, i can totally predict that someone like that will appear here. A selfish uppity a-hole b*tching about everything. But hey, always fun to argue with those :D

Will multiple caliber options for weapons be available?

Mainly: Can you have a 7.62X39 (AK-47/74) M4A1? It can be IRL, I've made one, and it's a beast, but can it be done in the game, or would that be a little TOO in depth?

Hope for a reply, Can't wait for release!

That was just a guess, a point to make about idiots finding any reasons to argue with others because they dont like the game.

Are we going to be using HK accessories to turn it into an 416, or will it be a separate weapon altogether? Same for other similar AR platform/AK platforms weapons.

Longer barrels are going to change ballistics, right? Example, rounds shot out of a 14 inch will have lower velocity something like a 24 inch barrel?

Yeah this an awesome question. Falling into this question, will we have multiple lower receivers?

They already said no to multiple calibers/caliber conversion of rifles, but they will probably have different lower options for different aesthetics or loadouts.

My next big question: can we get Magpul brand furniture?

No. Because lower = weapon itself.

So the lower is the first block of the weapon and can never change ?

will we see adjustable gas systems and rate of fire change when suppressed?

for the Mk18 CQBR, the rate of fire increases by 200 RPM when suppressed, and then decreases by around 100 RPM when the weapon is dirty, according to the NSWC Crane presentation which can be found here

Yeah, I thought about after I posted and realized that with all of the weapon customization, at least one part has to be the base. Haha, thanks though.

I'm not asking about different gas tubes on the M4 design, but different rifles (eg Sig 552/550 or FN MAG and variants) have adjustable gas system which could be interesting.

More gas:

- more recoil and shake due to more violent bolt movement

- faster wear of rifle

- more reliable when dirty gun

- higher rate of fire

Less gas:

- less recoil

- slower wear

- less reliable when dirty gun

- standard rate of fire

as for RPM of suppressed vs unsuppressed, it has to do with how silencer interacts with gas system of rifle. I think it's simple code change without modeling work.

Suppressed: less reliable and faster RoF
Unsuppressed: more reliable and slower RoF

You can literally stick an HK416 upper on an M4 if you want. :D

This is what i want to see...compatibility with changing between uppers and platforms that are compatable. Awesome video

how final is the M4A1 i would be a terrible human if i didn't display my disapproval at the removable foresight/ railed gasblock on the "Famous M4"

MK18 looks amazing though
