    choosing the right ammo

    I have the 7.62x51 hunter, how can you determine the right ammo for it from the dealers? Nothing looks like what I need, the numbers on the ammo I don't know how to locate the right one. Or for any weapon for that matter. I've read that the 7.62x35 is more common and easier to find. But I seem to be running in circles, I can't seem to find the right ammo. I've looked at ammo charts, but the numbers that are on the ammo from the dealers don't coincide with the numbers listed. Very confusing. Can you just click on the weapon, and then the ammo that will fit with some how light up and give some sort of indication it's the right one? What key strokes do you use.
  2. It is frustrating when you do not have any space in your tactical vest but you want to load a magazine that is already attached to a gun. It would be great to have a feature where you are able to load a magazine which is attached to a gun without actually removing it from the weapon and putting it into your vest/backpack. I would think one would be rendered immobile while performing this action as the character would have to use both hands to perform the magazine loading. Since the character would not be putting anything away in the available space, realistically they would have to put the gun down on the ground, hence rendering them immobile/unable to use said weapon.
  3. After some work I made a full chart for the generally accepted "best bullet" for each caliber at any given level, 1-40+. The chart will tell you what bullet you should be using for your level if you're needing to buy ammo as well as where to buy it and how good the bullet it relative to the other weapons in Tarkov. It should be a pretty good resource for any PMCs out there that need a refresher on bullet optimization or serve as an accurate guide for new players until bullets can be accurately analyzed and chosen.   4. I think it would be cool to add the armor piercing-incendiary 7.62*39 bullets, they would be great for penetrating strong surfaces as they are in real life. For exapmle giving you the ability to "effectively" shoot throught metal doors, cars, weak concrete fences etc. They are supposed to have a red tip and be able to penetrate class 4 body armor and armored vehicles such as: BRDM, Humvees, BTR, BVP etc. (90-45angle)

  6. I got genuinely interested lately as to what is happening in the latest updates, and I was hoping anyone who knows more than me, could inform me about it. After the second latest patch/update, there were several ammunition types for AK74N and M4A1 which got into the game I think, and than with the latest optimization update, they've gone without a patch note. These were: 5.56x45 M995 for M4A1 5.45x39 PB & BS for AK74N Maybe there were more types which I did not notice because of how frequently I bought these in the past few days. So I just want to know, do these ammunition types come and go maybe because of a bug, or are they being worked on at the moment and will be back, or they gone permanently? Probably there are also ammo types which just came in with the latest updates. Anyway, I appreciate any responses in this topic.

    Bullet Remaking?

    Hi, could we possibly be able to take the shells fired out of our gun, find necessity such as gunpowder, the bullet, etc. and be able to re-make the bullets in stations around the map. Best Regards, ~Evan
