  1. Scav on Scav Violence

    Has anyone else noticed the amount of Scav on Scav violence going up? I feel like new players have no idea about how to identify "Friendly" scavs. Personally I've almost stopped doing scav raids because I die more to other scavs that spawn kill or that KOS. I know Tavkov is a game based on risk and reward and at anytime you can loose your gear, but having to wait 30 minutes because someone was trigger happy is kind of ridiculous. (Just trying to see if others are having the same experience when going into a raid as Scavs) Thanks for reading guys!
  2. CPR Mechanic

    I have taken my suggestion from other topic couse i think it deserves a chance. From the time you got down you have 1 minute to strike your friend with Defib 3 x 3 and of course it would take some time :D. I can even expand this idea let's get resuscitation mechanic where you can resuscitate your teammate in time of ten seconds when he get downed this takes about 1 minute(defined by skill level) of action with animations where you get about 5% chance of reviving your allies(defined by skill again and this would be alot higher while using defib) this would make reviving balanced option. Ah! And you can do CPR many times(In about 4 mins but only if you started in in this one minute) and it would drop the chance by 1% ;). Same as we need bandaning or healing with medkits your allies mechanic so before you start CPR you have to fill these bullet holes! :). PS: According to Worlds health organization the most important time for CPR is first 4 minutes but i don’t think it’s the same for gunshots and it could strike game balance.

    Hey BSG, I absolutely love all the hard work you guys are putting into EFT, it truly is a wonderful game. after playing many hours on the recent update one suggestion I have comes in regards to Scavs. I often get nuked out of nowhere by them which is part of the enjoyment of the game for me as it lets know to check that corner next time or pay more attention to my surroundings, however I can never determine if it was a player Scav or an AI Scav. what would your collective thoughts be if on the death screen where it says killed by and the Scav's respective name to put in parenthesis if it was a Player or the AI? or is there already a way to tell this in game?   4. More players per map?

    I think we could have more fun if there were more pmcs allowed on each map and/or if the matchmaking would put equally sized teams against each other. Me and some mates are doing 5-man runs on a daily basis on customs and I feel like killing the same hatchlings and scavs over and over again. Sure, I'm enjoying to get out with a lot of loot most of the time but I miss intense firefights. Sure, there are some PMC's but we almost never encounter another geared 5-man squad in our raids. Is this prior to change?
  5. Hello, I've been playing Tarkov for quite some time now and there is some suggestions I have and concerns I would like to address aswell. Suggestions: 1. This is already been addressed, but it has been bugging me. Stashes should be able to be upgraded by this point either by quests or in game currency. The Pre-Order bonuses should be the same, but players should NOT be, forgive me, penalized for buy a cheaper version. The more expensive versions should just be a "Boost" of sorts. 2. I like the idea of having a certain time to extract, but I feel there should be a way to extend it. I.E. you will start getting radiation if the time runs out, but if you have a gas mask or anti-rad pills then you can extend your time. 3. A.I. are a bit buggy, but much better than most games I play. A.I. should not be able to see perfectly in the dark, nor should they be able to see through objects. I feel this needed to be in here but I'm sure the developers are aware of this and will fix it before the game is released. 4. Some quests are bugged, I.E. Prapor's bronze watch quest won't always spawn in, and if it does it won't let you loot it occasionally. 5. Desyncing items. Items that remain blinking. Maybe get better (or more) servers? 6. I understand the map is a work in progress, but there is some clipping spots where you can get out of the map accidentally or on purpose (I will record/screenshot the areas and attach them to this post later on. 7. Combat all in all in pretty damn good, but there is some moments where you will hit someone and it will not register, or become and invalid shot. I feel this ties in with the servers and would be an easy fix. 8. Custom games would be amazing with a non-savable character in which players can make their own gamemode. This should be added in lastly almost when game is out, because this is not a mandatory fix but would just be another fun thing to do. Concerns: 1. I understand the game is meant to be "hardcore" but I feel there should be more medical ways to treat wounds such as a tremor and such that act as a permanent fix rather than a temporary fix. I feel the medical system should be more in-depth with packing and elastic bandages, along with morphine, epinephrine, and full-scale medkits which would heal certain types of wounds immediately. 2. A major concern of mine is the armor. Some armor allows players to take multiple bullets to the head, which ruins the gameplay occasionally. I feel the right click with an axe should knock a player's helmet off, I feel helmets should get broken after few bullets (depending on caliber) and that there is weakpoints on all armor. I.E. a helmet is weak or useless at covering the face without a visor, and a visor helmet doesn't cover the back of the head or the neck. I feel if someone's arm is broken or lost entirely, they should not be able to fire a 2 handed gun, but rather only be able to shoot a pistol inaccurately with 1 hand. 3. The servers are very, very laggy occasionally with players teleporting around becoming almost impossible to hit. 4. The "Ghost Player" glitch happened to a friend of mine recently which is gamebreaking. It happens when you are looting and your game stutters or one of the items in your inventory start blinking or desyncing. Then, your player will be standing still but you will be able to move around (only on client side) as someone who is invisible to other players. This "Ghost" is unable to return to the host, extract, or kill players. Conclusion: I understand this is a beta game, but this is my feedback.   7. Texture change on players

    So I know in the last patch it was possible for players to go in to some files and change the texture of other players to a bright color, putting other players at a huge disadvantage, especially at night, as they can very easily be seen. I looked through some of the forums and the new patch notes and didn't find anything about it being fixed. My question is has this been addressed and/or fixed?

  11. Player scavs killing each other

    Is there any way to get the player scavs to be able to see the other player and ai scavs, by having something like a star or some jazz over their heads. From what I think that the devs wanted was the player scavs to work together to kill the players, but when the player scavs kill on sight regardless of if they can tell if its a scav or not it ruins the point. I dont know whether or not this "breaks" the game and ruins the hardcore aspect, but more often than not unless you spawn with a large group of ai scavs and just hang out with them the entire round (the very end of customs runs by the military checkpoint for example) you just either get murdered while your doing the friendly wiggle or the moment you even look at a loot item so other player scav rolls up and murders you. this is probably more of a player issue with people just being asses than a game issue, but still..... This game has a bunch of promise and is a fresh take of the fps genre but goddamn, the alpha had less issues than the beta pretty sure thats backwards on how its supposed to go.

  16. Player Scavs VS Scavs

    Hi, I think it is a terrible behavior that a Player Scav can kill another Player Scav in the middle of 3-4 A.I. Scavs and these A.I. Scavs even protect this cannibal from ( non scav ) players. I believe it would be more realistic if the ( at least surrounding ) A.I. Scavs revenge and try to kill the Player Scav. What do you think ? Best Greetings

  18. Dog Tags?

    Hello EFT Devs, I had the great idea with a friend of mine who I play with on EFT the idea of implimenting a DOG Tags / Tags system... By this I mean, when on a raid and you kill and actual player and not a NPC, you can see dog tags in there inventory with player name, I.e. then you can distinguish. Then we had the idea of them being listed in inventory if you get them back safe (and then you can keep them as trophies with details of the player you killed)
  19. Hi, After a few runs, you can remeber where does the loot spawn, where are extraction points, NPCs and so long. So what if the extraction points stays at the same place but you could escape only by one. I mean it like setting up some rotation between those extraction points and 2 of 3 points would be closed so you must find that one which is opened and escape. After some time, that extraction point which was open would close and another one would randomly open and so long. 2nd thing is how to make session more interesting and allow players to joining server constantly in waves or something like that. Sometimes when you're moving very slow, it seems like you're the only one in the session and even the NPCs are very often dead already. This would make session much more interesting because you can always meet some danger. I asume that loot and NPC spawning would be random in the future. If not, please think about it. This could turn game in to a little stereotype think after some time when you know what to do and how to move because you know what to expect... Thanks. Sincerely, Peejay_

    Alright, so what I want to do is see how many people would be down with fresh spawning a raid in a mass attempt to simply break the everliving snot out of it up until the very last second of each avaliable raid. I'd personally have a blast running around with a ton of dudes just trying to break crap and make the game better. Any support?

    FEAR clan is currently a clan in CW (Contract wars) which has good reputation but can be seen as inactive for some people. However we are planning to open up the clan to different platforms and are bringing the clan to EFT (Escape From Tarkov) . What will the clan be and its role in EFT? The clan is going to be a trading clan and we hope it will be the biggest and well known trading clans out there if not one of the most popular trading clans.   23. So, I was wondering, I was talking about this with a friend, that'd be great if you could just check in someone's bag like in ArmA II/III, and take whatever you need. If I may put this in a real situation, let's say you're fighting a group of people, it's shooting everywhere, and you need something to stop the bleeding, but the medic can't stop covering you, so you just search in his bag, find the bandage yourself, and then close the bag. I believe this could be a really cool thing to add.
