    Please Fix SKS Reload Animation!

    Dear BSG Devs (especially weapon department) & EFT Community, I just found out that SKS reload animation is totally wrong (especially the Tactical Reloading animation when we reload non-empty mag). When reloading non-empty mag, our PMC character will pull back the bolt carrier and magically the bolt carrier stays locked to the rear, then he'll insert the new magazine (or rounds) and he'll pull the bolt carrier further back to let it go forward chambering new round. It seems like somehow the bolt catch inside SKS magically hold open the bolt carrier. You can see SKS goofy reload animation here in this video (starts at 1:01:06). Afaik we can't lock the bolt carrier to the rear when the magazine is still loaded with bullets (coz the bolt catch won't hold the bolt open until the magazine follower pushes it up when all the rounds are out). SKS bolt carrier will get locked to the rear only when the mag is out of rounds (when magazine follower pushes the bolt catch up locking the bolt carrier to the rear). So what's the correct animation for SKS Tactical Reloading? Our PMC character should HOLD the bolt carrier back with his hand while reloading new mag or rounds. You can't just pull it back and "it'll magically stay that way". The bolt catch won't hold the bolt open while you still have rounds in the magazine. I know most of the players here won't even understand a word I'm saying So here's a video demonstrating how the SKS works (what's inside an SKS): I really hope BSG Devs will fix the animation! Well, they have to! Coz realism should be number one priority in EFT! Apparently this SKS goofy reload animation has been mentioned by @Sam_ (an SKS owner in real life) since 2 years ago.     Mounting a PU on an SKS

    There are aftermarket Kochetov Mounts for the SKS in real life that would fit the game well. The low price of the PU as well as the availability of SKS rifles in Tarkov would make this an excellent choice for an early game budget DMR.

    SKS Scope Mount

    I’d love to see the Matador SKS scope mount for both of the SKS’s in the game, that way you wouldn’t need to have an OP SKS to use scopes on it because the mount replaces the rear site. I’d suggest it would be purchasable at Mechanic 2ll or 3ll, with the chance of finding them in crates too. I have one of these on my SKS and it works great.
  4. Hi all, I love using the SKS in EFT, but would like for it to have more customization options for it. Here in the US, Tapco makes a solid polymer SKS stock which also utilizes the AR-type buffer tube system for collapsible stocks. It also features pic rails for accessory mounting, and three colors. It could be installed on either base SKS's or OP-SKS's with the use of the Leatherman multi-tool. Also, SKS's can be used by scav's, but by default they come with the internal 10-round magazine fed by stripper clips. This would not only reduce the effectiveness of sniper scav's, but stripper clips would only take up one inventory slot, similar to how the Custom AK mags work with scav Veprs. If you find a base SKS with the internal magazine, you can remove it only if you have the Leatherman multi-tool to make it accept ProMags.     6 Hits, No Kill

    Ok, I usually dont rage at forums, but this has got to stop. People are insane bullet sponges. Just hit some dude 6 times with my SKS, did over 340 damage, but he didnt die. He might have had time to heal up after my first few rounds, but come on.... I even hit him while he sprinted for cover, but he just kept sprinting like it was a sunday afternoon, and nothing happend. LOL I think if I was hit with a 7.62 round, even wearing body armor, I would not be able to sprint after that... Is this ever going to change in EFT?

    sks discussion

    There are pictures on the forums of early SKS's and they have the internal mag on them. right now I'm pretty sure there are only SKS's with 20 round removable mags. And I wonder if there are any plans to add an SKS with an internal mag. what do you think?
  7. The whole trick is to add as many LS321 as possible to have nicely visible big laser dot with all of lasers combined. Single dot is really small and easy to lose in firefight but this is perfect! You would be surprised how well it works - test it for yourself! If it's stupid but it works it ain't stupid

    SKS needs a nurf

    The sks is the most over powered gun in this game. Its cheap and half the time one shots through a fast helmet. For the price of the gun it should have more recoil or less power cause the gun at its current form is just stupid.

    Stripper clips and box magazine (SKS)

    Could you add the stripper clips (10 rounds) for the SKS also add in the non removable box magazine.

    Matador Razor SKS Scout Scope Mount

    Matador Razor SKS Scout Scope Mount, Please? something like this is already on the AK rifles, why not SKS too?
