  1. I never experienced a game that has some of the most crisp audio along with the most confusing. I'm aware that this game has audio problems in terms of above and below, shooting inside building etc... But my problem is with shots within 50 meters of me. It sounds ubiquitous. Often times I find myself spinning in circles to hear from a different angle and it all sounds like it could be from any direction. I'm using the Arctis 7 headset. I know there are many different customization sliders and options available so I was thinking that maybe the problem lies there. I've attached a snippet of the headset settings. Are there any options that I have checked off that could be contributing to this? What about using DTS Sound Unbound?
  2. Only in PMC mode (not in scav) there almost no walking sound and shooting sound, only sound is when you open ur backpack. Scav game mode is normal no problem at all w sounds.
  3. So after a while of weird and funny encounters i came to the conclusion that the sound distance at which silenced gunshots can be heard are just broken. Sure silencers need to be useful, but it‘s absurd when i and 2 other people can’t hear the dude who’s shooting at us from under 100m, but only hear the impact of the bullets, or my PMC getting hurt. (Sometimes without any impact sound) It just seems extreme inconsistent and just broken overall. Kinda like if the sound just get‘s cut off if you cross a certain short distance. My friends confirm that too everytime. I once shot with a silenced M700 next to a friend at a distance of <50m on Woods too, and he didn’t hear anything. The thing is like i said before, that it basically mutes the sound at a fairly short to medium distance, even though it should only make it quiter. Maybe the sound reduction for silencers is just too high across the board, or maybe the sound reduction per meter (or whatever calculation its based on) is too abrupt? Maybe a combination of both? Or idk... a bug? I‘m not an expert. It feels broken to me, thats all i want to say with that. PS: You can hear the shells landing on the ground from a certain gun. And by that i mean at any distance, lol.
  4. So yea, granades. We all use them and we love them, they deal a LOT of damage and they can win a PVP or massive PVE. But are they that good? Since the release of 12.9 granades have become a massive pain in the community. There is absolutely no fun in going into a raid and seeing 13 nades (yes i counted them) flying at you and you cant do anything because the granade splash is RNG as hell and sometimes it doesnt kill you if the nade blows up in front of you but other times it killes you 10KM away. I think this has to be adressed because it's starting to be very annoying. I wish there was a granade limit per player per raid (like 4 nades with 3.5 sec fuze and 2 nades with 2.5 sec fuse) because the game is unplayable if you meet big boyz on maps. Also, the nades, for some reason we have ninja nades this season. People throw granades and you cant even hear them deploying or even FALLING on the floor and this killed me a lot of times because i was not aware of an object flying towards me. Please, do something about it. Please.

    Sound Bug

    has anyone had a sound bug where they cant hear footsteps? I was looting in a building and walked into a hall way and he was running towards me but the entire time i couldn't hear his footsteps. he was sprinting on wood and i was slow crouch walking so there was no way i wouldn't of heard him, i did also have a headset on too. Just wondering if anyone else has had this. This is also the first time it has happened to me
  6. First off let me say I love this game. I have managed to put in hundreds of hours since I purchased the game. I just wish some of the bugs/issues I’ve noticed would get fixed because they really do hinder the experience of the game. To make this easier on whoever reads this I’ll embolden the issues at the top before I write about my experiences with each issue. Hackers I have been playing shooters/BRs for years now. Some of them competitively and others just casually. It is very easy to tell if someone is good or if they’re truly hacking. This game has people who have some raw aim and game sense and that’s why I love it, because it requires you to develop both to succeed consistently. For the first 2 months I’ve played I barely saw hackers, maybe once or twice a week at the most. Now, it’s at a minimum twice a day. For example, yesterday I was in 3 story dorms, on the west side of the building. My friend was getting a task done so I was just clearing the floor below. I start getting shot at from around 2 story. So I get out of the room I’m in and move to an area that I can’t be shot at from 2 story. Well that didn’t matter he kept shooting and eventually killed me despite me being behind a wall. My friend said that the wall behind me looked like a line of bullet holes following me. If you are going to have a game with a competitive aspect to it especially a pvp one, you need to have a good anti-cheat. Some people are assholes and ruin the game for people who are having fun. It actually makes people not want to play the game when that’s they how get rewarded for grinding the game. Also, I can say that adding a report function in the after action report would greatly help the community identify some of the cheaters. Sound I don’t think I need to explain to y’all how important this is in this game. There have been multiple occasions where my sound doesn’t work in the game. Most notably with grenades. I haven’t heard a grenade bounce or explode since 12.5! Even before the update it was spotty. I’d hear it some games and others I wouldn’t. It’s ridiculous, this bug alone makes grenades broken! I won’t get into the other issues with grenades since I have minimal experiences with them and they have affected me minimally but, this bug is absolutely game breaking and needs to be addressed immediately. Doors Recently I have been getting this bug where I go to open a door and it won’t open on my client but, for everyone else I’m playing with it’s open and they can walk through it. Unless I turn around and wait a few seconds it won’t open. Oh I might’ve forgot to mention that everyone else can see an open door when this happens...a lot of my PMC runs have met this fate... Overall, I wish these issues to be addressed because I love this game. I just wish the dev team would work on fixing these issues. I have a coding background and know that coding is a cutie for a lack of a better term but at the same time when you build anything with issues with the layer below the surface, it usually doesn’t turn out well. This game has SO much potential and I want to see it succeed! I know I’m just another player voicing my concerns but I’m not the only one. tl:dr please get an actual anti-cheat and add a report function to after action report menu. Fix grenade sounds. Fix the doors that won’t open when they are for everyone else. GLHF and see y’all on the servers! Also a vod function for players to watch after they have been killed or extracted along with their party would be beneficial for people to learn what they did right or wrong would benefit a lot of the newer players.

    0.12.5 Sound bug?

    So i did take a look at something i would call a little bug, nothing game breaking, but just something that ain't right, whenever you boot up the game and go for your first run, and you pick up a gun on the way the sound will changes a little tiny bit, and it is only for your first gun, the gun you are picking up needs to be equip on the sling, back or holster to get this bug. This is only if you have a earpiece on ( ComTac, Tac sport, Razer, Sordin and ops-core ) is the one's i did find the bug with (GSSH-01 i wasnt able too see at the data and find any sound drops) If you dont believe me, take a look at the video, and/or try it out for your self Link: YouTube video

    Gunshot sounds

    So I'm new, and as a new player this game is intimidating and needless to say frustrating. I play alot of FPS and have never had issues with sound directions I.E. ( shots, steps, in game voices, ect...) But I'm having a hard time with sound in this game, every gun shot sounds like they are coming from the middle/top of my head if that makes sence? I can be getting shot at by a scav in an open spot, and do a 360 and it always sounds like its coming from right on top of my head? No matter how far out the shot is or close the sound comes from the top of my head. I have steelseries artistic 7 bluetooth. Iv tried no ingame headset, or a different set. No help what so ever. Not only is this game unforgiving, its down right brutal if you have NO clue where the shots are coming from. And footsteps aren't much better. Any suggestions?

    Sound Bug

    Salve a tutti... Volevo chiedere a qualche admin se sanno , se c'è in programma un futuro fix del sistema audio e suono ambientale. Mi capita molto spesso , in situazioni dove mi trovo completamente al chiuso e affianco alle pareti , di sentire le voci o rumori esterni , come se fossero al mio fianco o addirittura appiccicati al mio orecchio, come se avessi un NPC davanti al muso , o imprecazioni delle IA che mi fanno prendere di quei colpi da infarto.
