Counteractive
I usually don't do night time raids, but when I do I am very limited in the optics I can use with night vision due to the heavy glare that takes up most of the focal point, namely with optics such as eotechs, but also the single dot 2-4 MOA sights such as the aimpoints. Most contemporary red dots, holosights, and reflex sights have adjustable brightness settings and IR capabilities for users who are using night vision. I would suggest a binding, such as N+Right Click while ADSing to activate IR mode for the optic which removes the glare but. Consequentially, of course, it will be impossible to see without night vision being outside our visual spectrum. This way it must be completely intentional to activate IR mode and wont be included in the regular cycling of optic modes during the day time. This would be a great quality of life improvement to night raiders who use NVGs.
