Server connection lost, raid never happened?

So, I guess I just got Tarkov'ed real bad.

I play this raid for about half an hour, and it was my best raid ever in the game! Killed af few PMC's (which does not happen very often), made good progress on a couple of tasks, and scooped up quite a bit of kit in the process. As I make my way towards the extraction, the server disconnects. Not good, character standing still in the open with players running around the map, but when I reconnect, all is good and I press on.

A couple of minutes later, and the server disconnects again. Only this time, I am dropped straight back into the main menu with no option to reconnect! I check my character, and everything is as before I began the raid. As if the last 30 minutes never happened!!! All my nice loot, all the progress is simply lost.

WTF???

Does this happen a lot? Because if it does, I am gonna quit playing this game soon...

Yes, I know that disconnects are common. But it never before happened to me that I was not able to reconnect and that my character was "reset" as if the raid never happened. This would be nice on raids where you get killed and loose your stuff, but not on your best raid ever.

This happens when the server goes down completely. It is not a common case and its different from the rest of the disconnection cases. It is usually the case just before an update but I do not believe there was a patch at the time you were speaking of.
