friendly wigglers

ive had several encounters with good hearted players a very brutal game and i thought id share my experiences to help me find those wonder players i have personally dubbed the wigglers or the wiggley boys.

as of what was 2 in the morning est on august 8 2019 i came across a friendly player in factory while i was playing as a scav and this other player was also a scav and he had saved my life and all he had was a mosin, and i had some ak variant with a grip i found on it and i also had a gasmask on as i had spawned with it he had managed to kill the last pmc spawn and we went into the 3rd floor admin building and there was a nice pile of bodies to loot. we both managed to come out with some adars and a hefty hall. and earlier on the same day probably around one i had encountered another player who had a ushanka and ak and we had essentially done the same thing but i ended up getting iced by a scav with a shotgun sadly. i generally try to be friendly as possible in this brutal ass game and i know i gave a vague and very shitty run down of the story but i hope that somehow my luck will prevail and if you want to play with me on tarkov add me on discord

My general outlook is, kill them before they kill you, if its noticeably a player. I have had too many people act "nice" and wiggle at first, then when i looted something nice or they thought i had a good haul, pop me in the back of the head while looting. I have only had a few occurrences where the other player was friendly, never a fellow PMC. People will kill you at spawn, even if you are just hatchetling'ing. Its dumb, so im wary of every player in this game.

For instance, i had a fellow scav on Interchange, we battled a couple PMCs, he fought some scavs and ended up getting hurt pretty bad. I was in Kiba at the time, i saw him bandaging and looting the scavs/players outside. I walked around in circles in front of him, knelt down and tossed out a full Salewa for him. He looked at it and shot me in the face. Screw that, never again.

It's pretty easy to know/feel if someone is going to leave you alone. I've had several instances on labs where geared players would just leave me alone while I was pistol running. I've also grouped up with 'hostile' pmc's before. Offcourse you will get doinked every now and then, but it makes for a great fun experience nonetheless.

After so many hours in the game, I love a good friendly encounter. And to be honest, I've only been betrayed (or attempted to be betrayed) maybe 1/5 times.

Most recently, I was on Interchange. Fully geared night raid. ReapIR on an RSASS and MP7 A2 secondary. Airframe, Killa armor, etc. I spawned and ran straight into OLI and upstairs to tech light. When I came up the escalator I saw someone looting and took a few shots through the IR. Tagged him once and and he ran shouting "HOLD YOU FIRE, CEASE FIRE". Flipped my light on and saw he was a hatchy boi. So I wiggle and drop my IFAK and Morphine for him. Say "Let's go our separate ways" and book it to Jacob and Jacob (I perch at the shopping cart overlooking down at KIBA.) About 3 minutes later, lo-and-behold here is the hatchling running up to KIBA. So as he's unlocking the first door I do the "STOP, FREEZE." He stops and looks around till he sees me up on the perch. So I run and jump off the edge (lol) breaking both my legs. Wiggled and opened the other door for him. I just grabbed the AK that spawned and let him have the rest. Then we were on our way out the back, by the Goshan escalator, and I just see him drop from a mosin player scav. I shout and rush and kill the mosin boy, but lost my hatchling buddy 😢 Added him and now we're friends though via the dogtag haha

PSA: IF YOU WANT TO BEFRIEND A HATCHLING WITHOUT KILLING THEM OR BEING KILLED--USE THE """MUMBLE QUICKPHRASE""" BUTTON TO REVEAL YOUR NAME TO THE PLAYER ON THE BOTTOM RIGHT HAND SIDE OF THE SCREEN. YOUR PMC SHOULD SAY SOMETHING LIKE, "Hey, wanna parrty?" or "Hey, let's team up."

I had an encounter on Interchange, we both were player scaves. I throw a grenade on him, he shot me in the leg, after that we were best friends until a scav one tapped me....

That is also the way BSG wants the game to be, same "Class": Bear, Usec, Scav; means you should teamup and play thogether no matter if you are premate or not, in the future there will be a karma system, therefor it is a must to not KOS

At this point I try to befriend almost every player I see.. It's a lot more fun to get the occasional hookup. But I totally understand 9/10 players not taking the chance and gunning me right down! Nothin wrong with that!
