Temporary solutions for secured container "nerfs"

  • Right now, the secured container is totally overpowered because it has the ability to stack multiple container items within the secured container. The ability to not be able to add put any gear equipment or any other containers into the secured container would be a good enough nerf to thwart people from chugging weapons, vests or other types of big containers like magboxes into their secured containers.
  • The other nerf which would also be viable that intelligence items like keys, etc which are found inside the raid and stashed in the secured container would be available to the player after a certain days. They can speed up the process by paying an insurance premium before the said raid OR they can pay 75% of item's networth as a fee for making the item immediately available to them. This won't apply to items which were stashed inside the container prior to entering the raid.
  • There also can be a trader who deals in unclaimed secured container loot, and the higher the trader is leveled, the more "exclusive" loot pool the player will be able to get their hands on before their competition (other players) so there won't be a mess like setting up trade bots on fence or something. IMO fence is the perfect man to implement something like that, but there can be another trader for it.
  • Maybe there can be an automated bidding system for unclaimed secured container insurance items without the option of having a buyout for that item when that feature rolls out.

They are not OP but currently they are slightly exploitable but only by a tiny minority of players, some items like ammo boxes, keybars, doc case should be except from that.

No need to nerf keys ect or limit when you can access them thats just stupid and pointless. Maybe if they are clones of keys you already have i see the point to prevent people farming them for the market but what you suggest would affect people just getting keys for themselves or for quests, why should i have to wait 2 or 3 days before i can finish a quest after getting a key...

@MrXT

Almost everyone with half a braincell is stacking non key containers in their gamma.

Docs case and keybars are totally fine, but any kind of boxes/vest/gear is not.

Meds are controversial. Gamma has the ability of comfortably stashing a grizzly which completely takes care of any meds you could possibly need with the exception of painkillers.

With the new vest redesign, it will be extremely OP to be able to stash those kind of vests in their gamma.

Edit : My bad, it's 3x4 now. So people won't be able to put that poo in their container. But you get the point.

After all that crap you realise your entire post was complete horse**** but didnt delete this nonsense. No i dont get your point. Nothing you said in that post was true, you cannot stick anything you just mentioned in a gamma its 3by3 not 3by4 and the beta container is 2by4. You cant put bags or vests in any of the containers even the kappa container which is big enough cant be abused like that because that has restrictions on it.

As for containers putting ammo boxes ect i think thats totally fine as are meds you cant fit anything else into a gamma that can really make it abuse. The whole dam point in the containers was to store some valuble gear in case you died as a safety net.

You have no idea what you're talking about so grow some braincells and think about what you're saying before you comment such crap.

Looks like someone forgot to read the fine print  xD

Anyways, details about the most popular gamma stashing rig (Wartech tv-109,tv-106) haven't been revealed yet. If the MOLLE attachments happen to get released this patch(which is very likely considering the fact that they're releasing plate carries for chest rigs in 0.12), then people won't have to worry about stashing extra things in their MOLLE attached pouches or whatever supports those attachments. Now they only consider 2 dimensions for determining the size of the said item. So by this logic and combining it with the MOLLE system which MIGHT get introduced sometime, people will have no problem running 14+ slot gamma containers.

Now, if they happen to add some 2x3 vests and combine it with the MOLLE attachments available out there, it will be pretty nuts as previously only people with the gamma container had the power to do so. Now anyone with a beta container will be able to easily expand their slots and stack the MOLLE compatible vests with the appropriate attachments to maximize their container slot value.

Another thing, looks like someone is totally unaware of people stashing their chest rigs into their containers for one extra slot. The value of one slot is considered to be 80-100k by streamers. That's free 100k worth of rubles if you know what you're doing as a hatchling. Most hatchlings totally ignore the statues and directly go for the prokill medallion, bitcoins and keycards. They usually carry a f-1 grenade, IFAK and painkillers with them to maximize their runs. Now, 80-100k doesn't seem that much, but over 10 hatchet runs, it adds to about 800k-1 million rubles. They have macros setup for leveling strength and endurance to the max thus you often see hatchlings getting there first no matter how good of a spawn you had in any map out there.

Next time, consider doing your research about things before being an ass**** over the Internet. Thanks.
