So 0.12 is here, how many resets are left?

I don't know how many server resets players can go through. It seems like there will be defenders from 2016 on, but won't that go too far at this point? I like Tarkov, but this is annoying. But of course, I'll start playing again. 😐 I make games myself, so in a certain way, there is understanding...

This probably isn't set in stone, they will likely wipe every time there's a major update right? Then again before launch. Of course, even that isn't a given... some games, like Path of Exile, reset every few months to reset the economy and level the playing field while introducing new content.

I'm just hoping once it is officially released there aren't any more resets (or maybe there are, but they are voluntary and you get some sort of benefit for doing it, like a 'new game+' or something). I'd hate to play through slowly, never reach end content, and then log in and be level 1 again.

But while it's in pre-release/beta, it seems normal for resets to happen every major patch and I would expect them to happen every time.

I think the game would get really old if there was never a reset. Yeah, you lose all your stuff, but you have the pleasure of doing rags-to-riches again.

This game would get extremely boring if every single raid everyone had top tier gear. There would be no variety and loot value would become meaningless.

yea basically if you play the game enough you WILL get bored because you will just have everything.

Release could have servers or other things if they ever do the full connected maps.  a lot of IFS about the future but really nothing set in stone

Best to prepare for many more wipes but enjoy them as they add a lot and everyone gets to start over
