I think I know why people have gear fear in this game

So I'm finally able to load into a Customs raid after about a dozen failed matching attempts. Keep in mind that I'm loading into a night time raid as well. I load in, and within about 15 seconds theres somebody already full auto spraying somebody from a sizable distance (I saw the tracers and it was a pretty long distance). I try to avoid the combat and hang back a while and stay hidden. While trying to stay hidden, this guy (I assume he's memorized spawns or something stupid considering his play style) runs right to me and kills me.

I'm not complaining about the game or anything, but I suspect this is why people don't enjoy bringing gear into raids. Spawns are too predictable and shooting is hard to get used to, and it leads people who have a lot more experience to take advantage of it. I deliberately try and go out of my way to avoid this player after I see him laser spraying with an AK from such a far distance, but he apparently knew exactly where someone could be at and came right to me, and I can see how this would be EXTREMELY offputting to inexperienced players. I've played for quite a long time, but Ive taken a very long break (last time I played was the .11 patch).

You can actually get into customs??? lol wow, and yeah its just really annoying or when you shoot at someone and the bullets dont register

You should try to record your games so we can see what your talking about if possible. But if you wanna team up some time message me I'm always down to play with people and generally it increases your survival rate... if your team mates dont shoot you that is haha

But that is a strat people do use. Here is a video of my mates and i on factory. I generally check the spawns closest to me immediately to prevent "unfortunate" events from taking place to our team. Off the RIP we killed 2 players that spawned in and decided to camp or be sneaky in high traffic (imo) areas.
