Inconsistancies

grenade kills. Just had a situation in interchange when my friend was looting and had a grenade thrown at him from G-shop. I was behind my friend, wearing altyn,,killa armour and I died to that nade with an apparent headshot. Yet my friend who was literally right next to it with very little armour on walked away with a red body..... like wtf.

Desync. Both of you should have died. Unless you were between him and the nade.

unless the body he was looting "caught" most of the shrapnel and you got a full face load of it...

But is this game really at that stage of details? If so. That's amazing! And news to me.

@Cloak I'm sure someone has tested it. But I swear I've had bodies take bullets for me.. Maybe I was just super lucky? I'm not an overly skilled player so really its a 50/50. Looks like they were shooting right at me while I was laying inside an enemy (not wearing any armor) 3 shotgun shots and I had 0 damage (some may call desync). But the damage never came through and I extracted fine sssoooo *shrugs*. Could test it by going offline, killing a scav in some kind of stand/crouching position. Shoot through him and see if there is a bullet impact on the other side?

Dude, my mind is blown right now. I just test your theory and it actually works. I tried shooting through bodies and no bullet penetration on the other side. Or I couldn't see any bullets had gone through or hit the wall. I used a grande and used a short throw. And the body seemed to take the shrapnel for me.  Did it twice to be sure. Mindblown
