Is a Reload Macro to Level Assault Rifles Bannable?

Pretty much like the title says. I've been told the best way to level the Assault Rifle Skill is by using Razer Synapse / Steelseries keyboard programs to create a macro key to hit "R" for you automatically with an SKS. I've heard this from streamers / youtube / etc. I've not done it yet as I'm skeptical to if it's against ToS to do so. I read a tweet from BSG from 2018 that says they are not banning for macros, but it could start at any time. As well as there have been no recent threads about this. Any answers would be greatly appreciated.

 

Edit: More specifically I just wish that BSG would come out with a definitive answer to this question whether in some form of PR Release or change in their ToS / EULA. I don't know if they would consider this cheating / exploiting / use of third party software.

Not accepted:
