But no. 50 meter center mass bullets still have a 50/50 whether they choose to hit. This game could be so epic, but the basics continue to let it down. Hit registration is terrible in this patch since 0.12.. I hit scavs chest TWO times with a mosin (no armor) and still no kill.. and no I didnt MISS or NO I didnt hit other parts of body.. 2. Yeah... And now I was killed by SILENT granade... where I didnt hear any sound or surfare impact or anything suggesting there is a grenade incoming... broken sound and broken hit reg... what a great game and they are doing 2 hours long podcasts about secure containers when they could actually fix the basics in the game Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

If you are firing full auto you have to understand that you will miss almost all of your shots and its the same as in real life. You also need to understand that your weapon still sways even when you hold your breath. the best way to show this effect in the game is to get a scope that has loads of zoom and head into your shooting range. you will see the natural sway of your weapon at the end of the range. check it with both holding your breath and not holding it and you will see how crazy of a difference it is. these are all things that apply in real life. this link here shows you how and why most people dont even use full auto in real life and especially with m4s and other rifles. Full auto is generally meant for suppression and not accurate fire. The only issue i have had in the game this patch so far is with head shots not being counted when hit even though they kill the player it will say the hit that downed said player is some where else on the body. Yeh get what you're saying re full auto vs semi-auto. Of course I'm talking semi auto and not hoping to hit everything spraying from 80m at full auto. Don't take the post out of context. I shot some guy in the face with the new AP shotgun ammo and the numbers aren't even close to what the spreadsheet shows. Im not sure what it is but someone needs to A/B test them. I mean why the hell are the laggers advantaged in the first place?? I've seen it so many times on both side, enemies or teamates. Every single time, once you notice their character stop still in mid run then zooms forward at incredible speed they will start dodging bullets like no one else for the rest of the game unless standing still for a good 5+ seconds. Can some one try and translate that if necessary? I mean I understand that saying "fix your game" or "fix hit registration" doesn't help but what about this??? Can't you make it like every other games where when one lags he stays put (on your screen) and rubber band back to initial position (on his screen) until his latency is stable and up to date with the server and if it persist he gets kicked and advised to pick a different server?? I believe we all agree that their internet connection is their responsibility, not everyone else's...... at this state the game is the product of child with zero resilience... such a punch in the throat for the supporters... even I understand why people had enough and just say "fix your game" otherwise they will start heavy breathing too And if it's not just a lag issue then how about simplifying the damn pen / armor formulas until figured out? I agree that the current formula doesn't add up 90% of the time, it became a joke with friends where we call it Russian maths. For instance I had several times where I get one tapped to the chest by AP20 through a brand new korund armor but then I need 3-5+ AP 20 in the chest to kill someone with same or lower tier class armors... and that is one small example among severals others.....
