I use my scav, get  a bunch of gear, and when i extract, the game leaves me with the items i spawned in with and all the poo i just looted is POOF disappeared gone. What an absolute waste of time. Fix this garbage please.

all you need to do is drag an from your stash to your player. Then it will throw an error and you will be able to remove your items.

It should be fixed, i agree, but doing what I stated above is a quick fix.
