Divine_Suasage Posted December 4, 2019 Share Posted December 4, 2019 So, as a new comer to this game and forum I've already seen two things a fair amount. People moaning about Hatchlings. New players moaning about high level players. So here's an idea. Rather than matchmaking (which apparently the Devs have said isn't happening, and a lot of older players seem to dislike) players are matched in a raid based on a gear score, basically the approximate cost of all your gear. This means serious players with top end gear will only encounter other serious players and no Hatchlings, and poverty players with no gear left will be in games where the cheapest weapons and ammo will still be viable? Your level becomes irrelevant meaning newer players will encounter more seasoned players, just on a fairly even playing field in terms of gear. I know eventually this game is meant to be open world, but while it's raid and map based I think this sounds like a great idea to stop Hatchlings and richer players annoying each other. I want to be able to 1v5 1v2 1v3 1v4 by barely surviving. I want to be able to get outplayed by lower leveled and low geared players. I want to be betrayed by that hatched guy i opened up to. The point is - if you introduce what you are suggesting - you are removing a lot of rare but memorable moments.
