Post-death health loss sucks

I understand the desire for milsim gameplay with consequences. I get that, it drives suspense, it makes the wins more meaningful and the losses sting more. That's fine.

This post-raid health damage thing when you die is just unequivocally awful from a gameplay standpoint. I died in a raid. I fucked up. I've lost everything I took in. That's also fine. It stings, but I'll live, I'll get over it.

Except now before I go in again, I have to tap into my already dwindling stash to fork out for meds or cheese blocks to get me back in the game properly without waiting half an hour. If I'm extra unlucky and I've bled out, I'm struck with an insult added onto the injury and now have to wait even longer or fork out EVEN MORE to get stamina/hydration back up. It's some mobile game poo. I already suck enough at this game, I'm trying to improve, and I don't want to spend my life running stash circuits on the borders of Interchange just to get enough money to take a pistol or a bolt action shotgun in more than twice a ducking hour to learn the game at a reasonable pace.

This might not be an issue for the sweatier people who play this game who know what they're doing, but as a new player who is trying to do quests and learn stuff and just generally figure things out, it blows. I don't mind losing my gear when I die, I do mind being forced to pay up even more to play my PMC again.

Please walk this change back. I understand it was added to create a kind of 'material' cost for the ever-present hatchling runners, but this isn't the solution. I want to spend my pathetic roubles on guns and stuff to take in, not consumables to make it so I can go back in at all in the first place.

It costs ~12k to heal up after a raid, if you keep playing this game a bit you´ll feel ridiculous to even have created this thread. You don´t have to be sweaty at all to realize that 12k is economically irrelevant in this game. You can literally pick up 2 T-plugs and they are worth more. If you need some basic tips how to earn money, then there is plenty of material available at this point.

My suggestion after you die with your PMC is to do a scav run.  Earn some money and let your main dude rest, relax and recover.

After that maybe try an offline raid and go back to where you died.  Look at how and why you died.  Try to look around and see how you could have done things differently to have maybe changed the outcome.  If you know all of that, just use the offline tonlook for better loot runs or better hiding spots.

Once you have more experience money will be nonissue.  I give away probably a million rubles a day or more on average and still bank about 20 mil.

Also, play the market a bit between rounds.  Buy and sell a little to make some cash.

Good luck!

Join the discord and join some factory groups. Just do some bathroom holds and/or save up the 60k ruples for some night vision and do night raids. its the easiest and safest way to make money while actually playing. Night raids are way better considering lack of player scavs and if you're in a group of 5 there will only be one pmc.
