quest turn in items backpacks, etc

I just lost about a mil rubbles or more turning in a quest for ragman for 2 pilgrims.  I had seperated a pilgrim and it sold the one that had everything else stacked inside of it.  It would be nice since we cant sell anything like a rig that has something inside it, then why is it allowed to turn in something that has items in it or have some way of marking them so we can identify the one we actually want to turn in????

I know it doesnt help you now, but i usually insure the ones i want to keep, that way I’ll have an icon that shows me what I want to keep
