I've tried countless fixes but no matter what I end up getting this error.

Reinstalled, Reinstalled on different drive, ran as admin,hard reset pc, normal reset pc, uninstalled the folder it says.   Someone who also had the same issue mentioned a crypto currency mine or something but that seems kinda crazy?  I don't know much about that?

There was a myth long ago that BSG was sending out files with the game. So they could use our PC's as data miners or something like that. I don't know if it was true though.

Have you tried going into Task manager and ending the process? Then deleting it? Maybe It could be a virus or malware? Try malewarebytes and all those programs to see if that will get rid of it. If it is.

Try CCleaner and clean the registry?

Try a restore point the last time the game was working?

Reinstall your OS?

I've never seen this kinda error before. So it's kinda out of my expertise. So I'm just kinda throwing you what I would do.

The game never worked this is the first time I've tried to download it.

No virus and there is nothing in the Task manager that is running thats using that file.
