Just got in to the beta, was wondering if anyone had any tips, tricks, or was looking for another player to game with.

Well OG's around here will say -

Stay Away from factory

Play Offline mode without scavs on One map (Customs seems to be "entry level" map) to learn map

Then Play Offline with Scavs to learn their behavior

Then try your first raid live with your gear, and be prepared to be wrecked. Tarkov is BRUTAL, dont worry about gear, it ebbs and flows. Don't get attached to ANYTHING, learn from your mistakes. Join a community, or group of guys that can play with you. Apply for the Sherpa program.

game is pretty rough alone, not impossible of course but just another pair of eyes makes the biggest difference, id recommend searching for a discord based in your region, I only know of the oceanic region discord and it might not be helpful for you.

If you decide to go into a raid on any map other than factory or Labs, id advise you to focus on getting through the raid alive, dont try and do some fancy stuff like you see on some streams...

Couldnt create a new post for whatever reason. Just want to say that this game is absolutely hot garbage. As in I honestly believe I was tricked into buying something that looks good, but plays like a game from 1995... no wait 1985. This poo should be shot, buried, and then fuckin poo on by civilization yearly to remind us why games like this should never see the light of day again.

Or blindly followed a steamer without any of his own research. Then again may be having a real bad week. I get those at least once a month lol.

Let's remember to keep calm and play the game for a few hours before posting stuff like this.

It's okay to be mad, but no need to do create a entire forum just for this kind of stuff.

Just as T4nk said, you should try Offline mode, it's really neat and can help you a bunch (or just go all-in like I did and suffer for a few hours)!

Remember that you can always ask for Sherpas to help you out in whatever you need.
