Game only launching on every second attempt, locks out mouse clicks

Every time I try to launch the game, the first attempt fails. The icon appears on my task bar, and my mouse cursor shows the loading circle. I also cannot click on anything, even when alt-tab'ing to or using the windows key to open other apps such as a web browser. In order to correct it, I have to use the keyboard shortcut to open the task manager, arrow key down to the Escape from Tarkov task, and hit DELETE to kill the task. The game launcher pops back up, asks if it can report the error, and the second attempt to Play works. This seems to happen consistently. Anybody else having a similar issue?

Running on Intel -7-8086k special edition 4 GHz, 32 GB RAM, nVidia 1070.

Just got back yesterday after down a PC for 7 months & having the same problem.

I usually do an "Integrity Check" before my initial launch after a reboot or such.
As I thought it was only me, as my pc fixing has been one headache after another!!!

Dont recall it locking up after the check tho.

After the initial good load, it always loads fine until I restart my Pc.

I have found that instead of restarting your whole pc, just ctrl, alt delete and sign out. re sign in and it usually works the second time.

This is still an issue for me and a friend of mine. Doesn't launch on the first startup but it does on the second attempt. Kinda annoying going into task manager every time i want to start the game
