Forum newbie here : How are DC losses treated by support?

Hi. So shortly after getting into a interchange raid fully geared, i got a "server connection lost"... i reconnected, but immediately got it again. In the last 100 rounds this was the first time this happened for me. My connection in germany where i live is VERY stable and VERY fast. After 2 tries it returned me to main screen heavily wounded and without items.

My question is wheter support can and will do anything about my nice roublinoes that i lost? Any experiences with that here?

the short answer is nothing

They will never give back lost loot from server issues.  far too hard to prove it was an accident and what you lost and so forth so they put out a blanket no forever ago.  That could have changed since but i highly doubt it

 

what probably happened is it could be your internet or their servers but you probably got spawn killed as your character just stands there starring into space until you get back in once you fully load in 

 

 also if you find this as you first load in and BEFORE  you fully load into the raid (as in you never fully get in but it says server connection loss 2+ times) then you should hit "confirm leave raid" and you will come back with all your loot most times

Thanks for the answer. By shortly into the raid i mean 3min after spawning. I was just entering parking garage @ interchange. Nobody was there. My internet is lightning fast (200mbit) and i never had stability issues. I live in a metropolis. As this never happened before, it must be on server side. Its just so sad... i lost all my gear.

It will happen.

It will happen a lot.

Insure your items and hope that if you DC, everyone on the server DC.

Internet speed has nothing to do with it, its just connection can break or go in and out occasionally especially if you live in a city area because you are all sharing a ton of bandwidth even if you got fiber

also in this game ya gotta not be attached to your gear you will lose ALOT of gear in this game it sucks to lose it to connection issues but i think in 3 years ive only lost stuff to connection issues a few times ever.

Also like the other guy said insure EVERYTHING most people wont take things like rigs bigger armor or backpacks and just getting one of those back usually covers the entire cost of insurance plus if you kill too many people you can chuck all your loot in a bush and continue on with people you have killed's loot
