Returning player after a long time... Any tips to change the psychological view towards the game?

I got the game a while back but couldn't play it because of my toaster pc more than a year ago, now I have a decent one I went back to this, not long tho.. Only have around 20 playtime hours, and the thing is.. I know the theory, but struggle so much by getting the practice right.

I know dying is a core thing of the game, but find pretty hard to deal with the frustration of it

I know gear fear has no sense, because by dying or by wipes, I will lose it anyway, but can't help to keep a couple nice moded guns I looted on my inventory

And so on...

So if any of you guys could share a couple tips would be awesome!

I can you give only one tip: get money and f*** your gear. if you have money to buy your gear this will help against gear fear.

but yes, if you have 5 mill and lost 5 raids with 1 mill gear per run (example) the fun is very fast clearly over.

you need to find a way in the middle...do a scav on a save route run for money > play your main with low/ mid gear > use the insurance! > play scave again if died.

if you see you have no chance, try to run a bit, drop your poo and run back to die...may the other player does not find your gear and you will get back all.

use secure routes, may on night( shoreline, coast) > save the loot and run to extract.

but overall, nobody can help you..if yot have a mental love with your beautiful guns, this will make you to hate this game.

i feel with you, i love a progress, like World of Warcraft or similar. i had my poo over 15 years playing this game. i love to collect gear and could hold it in my bank.

this would work mabye someday also in tarkov, actually on next wipe all is gone. i hate it to lost my progress.

lost gear...f*** but i can deal with it, if i have a money source.

i have a issue to lost my level and trader level.

overall, yes! i have also a gear fear, it will be better with some mill on your account but it never gone to me.

The most i read say: get fast as possibel the bitcoin farm and money is never a problem.
