Moral System? and advice to new players...

Its been years. People complain about this and that but my biggest complaint about Tarkov is the players. 90% of Tarkov players are exploiters. PMC kill PMC, always. BEAR kill BEAR? always. Player Scav kill player Scav? ALWAYS. This game is being hugely exploited by its player base and is the main cause of new players quitting, not the game itself.

I love this game. Its the no.1 game I play. Not having some type of profile info (game records), player reporting (for player awareness) and a moral system is hurting EFT.

Also, why not have player ranks go against said player ranks. Why have a lvl 1 play against a match of lvl 20+? WIll this game have no skill matching?

Advice from me (who was once a noob) to all the EFT newcomers...

I think the most important message to give to newbies is the game in its Beta stages will be wiped. This means that anything you accomplish is going to be deleted. I had no idea about this when I first started. I think new players will be more relaxed to know this. Progress does not matter at all. Focus on your game-play, not your profile progression.

Another really important tip for noobs is deceit. This game thrives on exploitation of noobs, and thats never good. Being nice and friendly in EFT gets you nowhere! Remember that. Simply, no one can be trusted. I'm sure there are some friendly EFT players out there, but your odds of running into a friendly EFT player is extremely slim.

Since this game ATM is thriving on exploitation, the best advice I can give you noobs is to exploit the game yourself. Do not feel bad. The player who gets exploited will never receive warmth. I found this out the hard way. Do not complain about it, just do it yourself. This includes team killing, Scav on Scav crime, spawn running, spawn camping, and extract camping, etc. Normally these things would be regarded as an awful thing to do in a PC game, but not EFT. The EFT player base thrives on you noobs who will not adhere to these ways and will dominate you. There is no such thing as playing dirty in EFT.

What I mentioned has nothing to do with hacks so do not take it as such. Cheating and exploiting or two different things. Some EFT players do cheat but the majority just exploit the games mechanics.

or it is simply all about reaching the meta and you're good to go lol....the game gets worse and worse in my opinion, it has been a few weeks since it has become completely impossible to play at night that you are perpetually snatched by someone with thermal ... so simply once you reach the goal and you can afford some gear you are ok lol. bad things

I see what you mean but on my opinion player rank vs player rank or moral system take away one of the best thing in this game..., uncertainty. You can one tapped lvl 50 full kitted and walk rich..., literally. And no knowing what a player scav is gonna do add extra flavor to the scav raids.

I will try to improve the team system as the place where you start. Maps need to be useful ..., the ammo damage need to be reworked.

There is a lot room for improvement but the few things that makes this game different lets leave it as it s now please....

Tarkov feels like Battlle Royal because of the pointless team system. I would like more of an Team based RPG, not a Battle Royal with sell-able loot. Just my opinion.

Me as a level 1 pmc want to go against a level 50 fully geared pmc. Who are you to take that away from me? If you can't kill a high level pmc as a new lvl 1 character it doesn't mean no one else can't aswell. Please no rankings and match making. We want randomness and unpredictable rounds each time we enter a new raid!!!

as far as i know they have stated that there will never be any "matchmaking" (other then in the possible arena mode which is seperate) as well as no splitting solo vs teams or any form of rankings

There is a proposed karma system but if arma taught me anything; that just meant everyone became a bandit

sooo i am a newbie and i have 2 questions

1. I bought 2 ranks the first one when i got the game and the second one like 2 weeks later i only got the stuff from the first rank except the title

2.Is there like an specific wipe day ? or is it like season based ?

anyway thanks for an answer :)

1. Not sure about top question, sorry.

2. Wipes happen after the implementation of major patches.

It's not exploit if it works like, it's means to work like this at that specific moment.
I mean, there are no features added to EFT yet to prevent this, that mean ppl kill whatever they want.

I will msot likely repeat that thing few times, but it's UNFINISHED PRODUCT, which means many things will be changed.

Because thats what Developers vision for EFT was, and thats why it looks like this.
Why EFT is not a racing game? Becasue developers didnt wanna make "racing game".

So according to tons of other topic i can say:
- There will be no matchmaking based on gear/value of gear/value of stash/lvl/kda/colour of your eyes etc etc.

It's been mentioned and answered many times, so pls, use search on forum.

The thing is, that finding such information is really easy, fact that u didn't know when you started playing EFT means that you didn't search for any information about EFT tho.

DUnno will ignore that part, if there is no voip, everyone can kill you, u can only give commands etc, I thought it was obvious.

Thats not exploiting...

Exploiting -> using bugs, doing things which shouldn't be possible, or in the game at that specific moment.
Which is -> Abusing skills (got fixed), going and hiding into walls so enemies cant see you (still not fixed at some spots), Refilling fuel by walking into raid (still works i belive but u can get stash wipe casue of that)

But...
Killing scavs when you are a scav -> not exploit, scav are scavengers, there are no rules out there.
Team killing -> well, if you with random, sure, he can always kill you, thats life
SPawn running? I guess u meant that ppl rush towards spawns? Ye, thats how spawns looks now, that u can guess/know where enemies might spawn.
Spawn camping? Do any1 spawn camp? Well dunno.
Extrac camping? Damn it's Tarkov, u can neer expect anything. Like "extracts' are not "No shooting zone" which mean u should always expect that someone can sit there...

Those things u mentioned are not exploits. Those are things how ppl play game.

Like if you would like to ban "campers" then some ppl will say "you should ban ppl who rush too" casue why one group shouldny be allowed to camp, snipe from distance, but others can rush and play EFT like CoD?

Scav vs scav violence -> Might be a DLC thing, where there will be "scav Karma" -> Source podcast
Karma overall -> will appear at some point, there will be maps (or zones) where killing ppl from your faction will not be allowed and will decrease your karma, ppl with negative karma might not be able to use flea market, or even traders.
Also zones where "no shooting is allowed" might appear too.

But those things will appear in future.

I guess u meant "game edition".
So "extra" or "addicional" equipment u should receive, should appear to you via "mail in game" however, there are bugs appearing from time to time, where you will be forced to either wait for wipe, or wipe your account manually (which will reset all your quests and extra items u got).

Atm no, they come with bigger patches, normally it's like 5-9 months.
As they mentioned in latest Development plans -> Next wipe is planned within 5 months from now.
