Question about dmg to arms

I got killed with a single bullet in my arm or leg, not once but 6 times today. How?

When I use Mosin or Hunter or something i Need at least 2 bodyshots on armored or more and didn´t oneshot in arms or legs a single time?

 

So I am wondering, is there a ammo I don´t know that oneshots in arms or is it superbullet(a cheat)

This game is hardcore bro you die from getting shot in the arm bro, like real life you die when you get shot in the arm instantly. The damage in this game is fuuuuud up. Half the time my shotgun point blank doesn't even register on players and my ping is between 60 and 90. EFT is just very inconsistent.

Vaguely remember one of BSG bringing this up in a question time thing recently. Something along the lines of it can fragment into the rest of the body, the head/chest are two points that if they blackout and any extra damage is taken there you're dead immediately.

Perhaps this bullet registered to the arm but fragmented like that? Plus sometimes the end screen of doom isn't always correct, it bugs out from time to time

The Thing is I was full, completely full and 6 times……. And for me it never happens and me and my mate run mosins on Woods all the time and it did never happen for one of us. Arm and leg shots did never kill a single guy. Not even a guy that got 1 or 2 hits from somewhere else did die from my mosin to the arm

If you are hit from the side it can over pen arm to chest then when the spread damage happens on the thorax hit it registers to your arm and has a chance to instantly kill you.

How do you know it's a single bullet to the arm if you're instantly dead? Pretty sure I've had bullets pen through my arms/legs before. I would also assume you could shoot through someones shoulder or side on certain armours. Also you can black out both arms/legs and they shouldn't die. If you shoot a blacked out body part though, they'll take a % of damage across their whole body based on the damage done. 7n1 and m80 will one shot through class 4 armour, so if shot through the arm, prob went into your chest.

It sounds like you're using the wrong ammo if you're taking two shots to bodyshot scavs or anyone up to class 4 armour, I assume you're just getting one tapped in the chest. If it's gone through your sides 6 times today and truly one shot then you are very unlucky lol

There is a bug that I'm not sure if it was fixed or not, but if you got hit in the leg and then head the game would tell you you died from a shot to the leg.

The first hit is registered but the latter killed you.

Hope that makes sense.

guys when it´s the first shot of the raid that hit you and you die and the screen afterwards tells you lost limbs 1 and least dmg torax there is no way the bullet penetrated through the torax and also full hp means no blacked limbs

 

yesterday i killed a dude behind a tree with 3 shots in the arms…….something is not right here
