Kamaul
Hey Everyone, Completely new player here looking for any helpful tips you wish you had when you first started as I am currently installing the game. Also does anyone have a link to a good newbie guide. Thanks for any help you can provide, Kamaul
Poddighe
Play the same map over and over again, learn when to move, hide or shoot. You're gonna see some improvments in about a week. While you try to not die of boredom in the matching queue you can watch some guides on youtube.
TUALMASOK
Stick with it! It's hard, it's brutal, it's unforgiving, and it's fantastic fun. Look up the level maps on the wiki and learn the extractions. Not every raid will have the same extractions, keep that in mind. Try a scav run first or play as PMC in offline mode. Shoreline is a good map to start on.
FuwuVR
Don't start going for pvp or doing what streamers do. Start farming the map, try to go on low pop spots and eventually you will be in a gun fight. Also, Use your scav when its avaliable. If running low on money, start with a pistol, kill a scav and loot it so you can play without risking your loot (drop you pistol with insurance so it will come back later). Prolamer
Play customs and woods just if you have to do quests on these maps. Play Interchange and get all the the stuff for your hideout all the day or play shoreline to make money its a really big map and you can make your bags full without seeing a pmc all the day. xCrossFaith
Also new player here.. The thing that is working way better than I expected: take it sloooooow as hell, pretty much forget the sprint button exist If you are used to other shooters and are not of the camping kind, there is no option but to learn how to do it for this game, I don't mean sit in a corner for 40 minutes, but walk a bit, stop, listen and watch the surroundings rinse and repeat, still being stomped 24/7, but slowly getting more loot into the stash

STOMP STOMP STOMP can be heard from far away. It's like saying "I'm over here, come and get me."
sackmycack
Just watch a ton of vids. If you actually pay attention to the vid and not just have it playing in the background even if its like stream highlights from somebody whos really good at the game you can still get something from that. Like positioning, how to peak, spots you didn't know about, stuff like that.
