Email Verification will not send

I bought EFT on the 19th and everything went smoothly, I could get into the site and downloaded the launcher from my profile page, but when I tried to log in from the launcher it asks for an email verification code just like it did on the website. Only problem is it does not send the code to get into the launcher so now not only can I not play the game, but I can't even download it, which is a major letdown and as of right now I have gotten no response from support. I use a yahoo ameritech email, does anyone know a solution of have a similar problem?

I have checked there as well, it's odd because other emails will send only the one from the launcher and the change email code will not send.

It is a common issue that has no exact solution, you can try the following:

Check the "Spam"  folder - a letter by mistake could get there;

 

Add to the whitelist of your sender's mail [email protected];

 

Check if the mailbox is full, letters may not come if the quota of your mailbox is full.

 

Check your mail settings, turn off all filters on your mail, and also check your mail forwarding settings. When forwarding is turned on, letters can go to another mailbox.(We want to warn you, if you use mail forwarding, there may be many reasons for not delivering a letter, in which case you will need to contact the support of your mail service).

 

Contact the support of your mail service with a request, why you do not receive letters from the project Escape From Tarkov from the addresses:

 

[email protected];

 

[email protected];

 

[email protected]

 

If none of those things works better ask the support for a email change, yahoo and outllook have a lot of issues with tarkov.

However, I have a gmail account registered with tarkov and it doesn't work either, I have been waiting the support response for an email change for 11 days and counting...

Do they respond to support requests, I've been waiting 8 days and really want to play

i am also not getting the auth emails and have made a ticket and havent heard anything. also am not getting the email to change my email to another email

I paid for the game on Jan. 4th. I am still waiting on a fix/email change. 21 days later...

They respond, but they are "saturated" with all the new people that is coming to the game. About the other thing, no, they do not have a refund policy but if you payed with PayPal you can start a refund case there and it should work, if that's not the case your only solution is being patient and wait for the support as a lot of people is doing right now including myself. This is a really sad situation that it needs to be fixed, there is a ton of people that is locked out of their accounts just because this issue.

It's been over a week and all these mongrels have done is sent me a macro telling me to check my spam and to contact my email provider. They even suggested if that didn't work they will require 123123151341 pieces of proof that the account belongs to me so they can change the email.

Way to avoid responsibility and try to push the problem to someone else. I'm gonna be seeking a refund soon and if they won't give me one voluntarily, I'm gonna be going the chargeback route. I can't play the game I paid for.

Wow, looks like this is still a problem.  If I don't get some sort of contact back, addressing this issue, in the next 24 hours, I am just going to call my bank and request a fraud chargeback.  I am having the same problem, the system will NOT send me a verification e-mail.  This appears to have been going on for months and months, and is obviously not resolved.

In nearly all of the cases in the past where this issue has occured, it is an issue with the e-mail provider or the users mail configuration. BSG can't sort issues with these things. Their smtp sends a mail to your e-mail, what happens after isn't something they can sort.

Since this doesn't affect EVERYONE, its most likely an issue on your side.

They can sure as hell implement all the other authentication methods into the launcher that they have on their website, for a start.
While they're at it, they can also maybe put some effort into their ducking support so that we're not talking to a bot.
I'm sure by the time a human gets to reading my ticket about getting the email changed quicker, the ducking email change process will be done. Hell, I'm not even sure switching to gmail is going to even help.

But hey, it doesn't affect everyone. ☺️
I wanna see how those that have been waiting months for a fix to this will stomach that kind of reply.

If I can get the verification code emails from attempting to log into the website, but can't get the same email FROM THE SAME ADDRESS from trying to log into the launcher, it's apparently the email service's fault, is it?

I have changed my physical boot drive and reinstalled my OS prior to being forced into this process.

I implore you to read the OP again and properly understand his issue, as it is likely also mine.

They're able to log into the website, the same one that would require you to verify with an email containing an authentication code if you haven't changed it to authenticate with something else. The issue arises when the user attempts to log in via the launcher; the emails fails to arrive or aren't even being sent, and because the only authentication system available on the launcher is via email codes, the user has no alternative access, such as google authentication, single-use codes or backup email.

I have had this same exact issue from day one of this wipe. It has been over 60 days and the Support team is absolutely CLUELESS and severely incompetent is customer service altogether. I've spoken to four different individuals through the SAME EMAIL that I'm not receiving these authentication emails, Ive sent them multiple screenshots of  proof that I own the account, I've gone through EXTENSIVE support with my email provider to ensure issue is not on their end. If I hear another person tell me its an email problem from my provider I might set my hair on fire. Change my god damn email already so I can play the game or give me a ducking refund if you are not capable of any support. SEVENTY DAYS. ducking ridiculous.

I'm having the issue of I can log into the launcher, I can log into the forums, but I cannot log into the website to make changes to my account or collect my holiday gift. I have been waiting for 67 days and counting since I opened a ticket with support. I cannot receive emails based making changes to the password, or verifying a "code sent to main e-mail".  I've provided bank transactions, credit card info, all this personal poo just to get a change to my EMAIL so I can log into this site. And It's not going to spam, I triple checked every single folder, I've tried whitelisting and turning off all filters together, an email is just not being Generated, PERIOD. Its absurd that people have to wait this long for support, and even more ludicrous that there are no other verification or solutions on the website.

Here is how I got the e-mail to send.  I just reset my password to another password.  Then the e-mail sent.  I do not think this would indicate a problem with my e-mail provider.  However, it does require access to the e-mail you set up your account with.

 

Now if I could just get the website to stop banning my IP address because I forgot my original password too many times, that would be lovely.

yes but if support would answer our tickets and emails when proof has been shown and wanting to do a email swap what can be done then support team being lazy
