Going into labs for the first time tonight. How should I prepare?

As the title states my 2 other friends and I will be going into labs for the first time and I was wonder about what gear I should bring, what locations I should avoid, and what keycards I should buy. If anyone could help me out that would be great.

 

EDIT: I am lvl 28, my Friends are 22 and 18.

the best way to prep is to sell the keycard they are at 180  k last time i checked. for labs you need full level 5 at least preferably 6. ap rounds in a m4 which costs like 140 k for ammo alone. just save the money and go reserve. sell the card and buy a RBBK

Play it in offline mode for a while, get used to the way the map feels and sounds - get used to the raiders because they can be extremelly sneaky and will catch you off guard. 

I usually bring in regular quick meds, plenty of ammo and at least class 5 armour and helmet (usually class 6 if you can afford it). 

Be prepared to be rushed down by PMC's who have memorised the map entirely, and can flank you from even the craziest of angles. I've never been one shot on a map so much before, so be prepared to lose your gear and don't go in with anything you want to part ways with
