kjordan1990
Hello! I am a fairly new player on EFT. I absolutely love the game! Unfortunately, I went through a REALLY unfortunate situation... A friend and I were just now playing EFT, on "Factory". We were literally playing ~30 seconds before I started writing this post - after what happened to us, I was absolutely fuming! I immediately felt as if I *HAD* to tell someone... We are HOPING this can somehow be rectified, as it truly was a situation which should never occur in EFT... At least... I SINCERELY HOPE ITS NOT! He and I both lost some INCREDIBLE gear. And the situation was 100% hopeless. Losing all of our best gear without us ever standing a chance was HORRIFYING. Our VERY FIRST contact was with a scav we called "Superman". We both used up almost exactly 2 magazines (~120 rounds on him. "Superman" being "Superman", survived a shower of lead hitting him in his upper stomach, chest, upper chest, and face/head (mainly his chest, but ~25-30% of our rounds hit his face/head. Yes, we are 100% positive about this, as we were more than close enough to tell where our bullets were hitting him - VERY CLEARLY). We were both using 5.45mm "T" rounds from Prapor. I emptied almost 2 full magazines, and my friend blew through 2 complete magazines, as was required... ONLY TO BE ABLE TO KILL "Superman"!!!! Right after this, we saw another individual we shot down and they disappeared (not sure if we killed them or not - we think he either ran down the other stairs, or ducked behind a wall). So we RAN AS FAST AS POSSIBLE to the bathroom! We were healing up, and handling our magazines. I was good to go before him, as he was more banged up than me (he was LITERALLY face to face with "Superman", shooting him in the face at the end. So of course, even with his gear, he took damage). So I posted up, and watched down the "aisle" of the bathroom, making sure no one could kill my friend while he was getting himself sorted. The SECOND a new scav came around from the corner at me, I let loose directly in his chest and hit him in the face a few times. I was crouching, partially covered. The scav just straight up ran out with zero cover, taking all of my shots. When i was reloading (and freaking out, thinking "WHY CAN'T WE FREAKING KILL ANY SCAVS?!?!?!"). Well, "Superman #2" shot at me twice with his shotgun... And I immediately died. I had a good helmet, and great body armor. But sure, I can see that happening. I ran out of bullets (again), and was freaking out trying to reload fast enough. just shot me twice with a shotgun and I went down QUICK. My friend was hidden back a bit from me in the bathroom, and could see when they were at my body. He was waiting, until he saw one of the scavs looting my body. He knew how much my gear meant to me. So he came out trying to do something about it - and was PROMPTLY mowed down as well. I know losing guns and equipment is all part of the game. BUT COME ON!!!! How can we EVER hope to win/survive/keep anything when the scavs are literally surviving even more bullets than superman ever got hit with in his movies?! One scav survived ~120 rounds. The other survived like ~28 (my friend hit the scav a few times, but I do not believe I hit him with EVERY round, but I feel as if I was pretty accurate though. He was only about ~7'ish meters away from me when he first came around the corner - and then came DIRECTLY at me). Is this seriously something we have to deal with?! If not - could we PLEASE get some sort of help with this? We are both EXTREMELY upset, and feel completely robbed by this situation. We REALLY need help with this!!! Pezzo1
Well that's unfortunate man but there is only two things I can see from what i've just read : - Desynchronization (aka Desync) leading to your bullet not being registered cause your client is not synchronizing with the server. You can easily check this on the death screen when looking at the damage dealt to "Superman". If you really did hit him 120 (minus 20% let say for accuracy and hyperbolism) well the stats would give you a crazy numbers in the "damage dealt" or "Damage absorbed by armour". - Ping, either you and your buddy had an high ping because you selected a wrong server or Superman was abusing the high ping to have your bullets not registering making him (temporally) invincible. Now what you can do ? Well nothing my good Sir, welcome to Tarkov, unfortunately you won't get anything back except if Superman left some stuff on your body and that you were insured. Remember that you haven't bought a finished product, and the servers are probably one of the weakest point in Tarkov, even more now that we have to deal with the massive surge in new players. I know that it sucks, I've been killed more time by invisible scavs, stuttering, desynch and ping abuser all combined together than legit 1 to 1 fight, but don't let it affect you, gears are only pixels and the next wipe is gonna take it out for you anyway. Grimm285
as a side note to what is stated above T ammo is a terrible ammo type and part of your main issue. Most low grade 5.45 will bounce off body armor which will not help you in these situations and T ammo is one of the worst

As a matter of fact T ammo is a good ammo in the early game especially if you haven't maxed out any traders and don't want to pay 600 Ru for one BS or BT bullet. When having Prapor LL1, your only choices are T, PS and PRS and as you can see below, it ain't such a bad choice, only downside is that it's average later on against LV4-5-6 armors and that's a tracer round so you will look like a Christmas tree when shooting at night. Early game. Like as in a fresh wipe the games been wiped for 3 months. Ammo is the only thing that matters in this game

Ah alright. Well, that's too bad. But thank you for responding and letting me know!
