Good idea or terrible idea?

So since I'm trying to do the stash upgrade for the hideout (leading to the bitcoin farm/scav case)  and seeing my inventory was full and the absurd cost of the stash upgrade I decided to sell my whole inventory, weapons, barter items, meds etc, every single thing (good  way to deal with gear fear as well imo) and my idea now is to rely on scav runs for a bit until I have some more cash and once I got that upgrade start running the pmc normally again (I will do some knife runs as well tho) 

Is that advisable or it's just dumb? Or both? What do you think?

Its extremly expensiv i know, however you can farm Rubels with the stuff you have in your stash, why would you need to sell everything?

But the stuff in my stash is the one for selling to get those 3 million..  I know stash space is not a problem with the item case and so on but for the upgrade I'm not aware of any other choice   

Also this is since I started playing mid wipe this time, so I want to take a look at all those upgrades before they are over, the next wipe I will do it slower from start

I raised 3.5 millions in 3 days, it's not that expensive man. You have to pick up the right loot. Do some Reserve run. And flea, flea, flea, flea...

Keep what you need not what you like.

Having a fancy gun take up space and collect dust in your inventory is not advisable. Sell what you can and live with what you can buy. Its not like stuff is "rare" now with fleemarket.

I still don't have the gear (before selling I mean) nor the experience with the game to go there yet XD

You don't need experience, nor the gear, i bought the game the 2nd of January lol.

Do some scav run in Reserve, if you are lucky you can exfil with ammo, weapons, mods, meds and barter items that you can sell on the flea for big money.

You can equip your pmc with the things you loot scavving and do the boring quests to get exp end rep with the traders 👍
