just started. 2 out of 4 games have crashed.

Hi All,

I'm new here. I'm trying to get a feel for where my expectations should be for this game. I just installed it Friday and have only been able to get 4 online game started. 1 game, i played as PMC and got my butt whooped. 1 game, i completed as a scav and retained loot. 1 game I played as a scav, extracted and then got a 201error saying i was not authorized before i could save my loot. 1 of these games I played and extracted as a scav and got a backend error before i could save my loot.

For people who have been playing this more often, is this standard, or has there been more instability than usual this weekend? I understand that it's a beta, but if i lose my loot 50% of the time, it doesn't really seem like it's worth the hassle at this point. Thinking about giving it a few more weeks/months and coming back to it.

Any insight?

Been playing for a week or so and today i've had two games with the 201 error after successful scav runs...idk if this is typical or not...

I got this game about 2 weeks ago and unfortunately the servers they are using cannot handle the amount of people who want to play. Do a test, play at 6am-11am and 3pm-11pm. I guarantee you that the early morning rounds will have almost 0 errors, but the afternoon hour games will almost all have errors. Its simply because the servers are overloaded with the amount of people playing/trying to play. (ps no refunds as far as I know)

I've lost about 2 million+ rubbles to server errors. Either lost gear I bring in or losing out on loot

there are no refunds as far as i know

And can confirm before the influx of players the servers ran amazingly, i mean literally didn't have a dropped game or crash (not to say there wasn't a slew of other bugs) all this wipe up until about a month ago. Now they are quite frequent. I believe jan 24th or 25th they added a whole load of new servers which seemed to help for like a day but really didn't do much overall. The problem seems to be the opposite of what you think instead of people leaving the game, the population is growing too much even now

There was no problems beforehand like we had yesterday evening. Relax. Maybe SJW's are trying to ddos servers. Official team is on it. If the game is unavailable for few minutes or hours go do something else. Like change your genders, race, religion, go eat grass, go for a walk etc...

Don't listen to this guy^^^

These problems are not common, they started when the promotion went online and there was a massive surge in new players. They are playing catch up and it will get better. Servers are being upgraded as well as more new ones online every week. It will get better.

I've been playing for about a month and I have only lost loot two or three times so far. Match times have been brutal, but last night queue times were down to 1 minute, I'm not sure if this is due to the super bowl or server upgrades. Even though it's extremely annoying to deal with the server issues the game is so good it's worth putting up with it. The game is so well done and rewarding don't sell yourself short due to a few server issues.
