I will admit, I love to use FLIR because it makes it much easier to kill PMCs from distances while in total dark and even morning, but I feel it is being over used, every night raid I enter on Reserve, I have killed several players with the device and I to have also died with the device on me. Its as if nobody fears playing at night anymore. I wish for the FLIR to be very expensive almost as much as the Infra-NVG. FLIR should be very rare to have on a person, especially in a SHTF situation like tarkov, hell even in an infantry company, you may have 2-3 FLIRs maybe even less. In conclusion, make FLIR really expensive so that its not something people rely on.

Nothing in this game is "really expensive."  Most veteran players have 100's of millions of rubles in cash, stash values even greater than that.  Most people could use a T-7 every raid and not miss the money.  If you want something rare, it has to have a very low drop rate and ONLY be found in raid.
