I just killed a dude looting a body and slowly went there to loot both. Couldn't find the bodies, eventually found 1 and then got 1 tapped by a PMC.

I had zero kills on my kill list.

What the actual duck?

i have had a similar thing with a scav kill. I thought i had killed him, but im pretty sure the guy who killed me killed the scav as well

That dude looting could have also been bleeding and just happened to fall over from blood loss as you shot?

Is it possible you didn't kill him? That he simply went prone, crawled away and shot you as you approached to loot?

Kills are really buggy. In the woods, I killed the sniper scav on mountain and only fired one shot and got killed later. I got credit for 4 kills and all the xp associated with it. My partner killed 4 or 5 and got no kill credits and hardly any xp.

Last night on factory, I fired 5-6 rounds point blank, no hit markers, end game report said I fired 30 shots.

Man, I was in the back behind Dorms in Customs, in the super bushy area up against the back wall. I swear to ducking god there must have been four of us prone trying to get away from each other and Scav gunfire. It was honestly hilarious but kind of sad at the same time. No one wanted to be the first to sprint away thinking they would just get pegged. Started off with me shooting this one guy who was running out of Dorms, he went prone and I could hear him, but I went prone because my gear was really weak. Then I heard another guy sprint over and go prone. It was a clusterfuck. I just laid there acting like I was a corpse hoping nothing bad would happen. Basically the Tarkov equivalent of going into the fetal position and having a damn panic attack hahaha.  Somehow I managed to survive and extract too. Being able to prone in bushes adds a whole other layer of complexity to poo. People can really abuse it.

Yeah I've shot a guy with like five rounds, had to reload, and he died before I finished reloading from I don't know blood loss or something. I didn't get the kill associated with it even though I clearly was the cause of his death.

Yeah I have been considering recording my gameplay as well. I'm starting feel tired about getting shot by invisible PMCs or through the floor or through the walls even while indoors in Reserve and in Labs. I can't figure out whether the problem is on my side, server side, both (F.ex. desync) or are they just hacking..

All other maps seem to work fine. Its only those two.
