Disconnecting mid game

Why does it disconnect me in the middle of gunfights or just out of random? Why don't they despawn your character as well so I am not constantly losing all the stuff I work towards?

People would abuse it, if they were in a gunfight and knew they were going to lose then they would disconnect and wait 15mins just to save their gear

They should be able to tell when we disconnect from the game because the server isn't 100%. I've lost a lot of good armor and gear because of this new update. It never happened until the update 12.3. You'd think they would be focusing on the bugs that kick people out of the game and make them stop playing. I feel like it is a bit unfair when you go through all the hassle of buying loot and then you die because of a bug within the game. I went through almost 5 guns because of it. Finally it stopped and I looted Dorms in customs and got some guns so I can keep playing as a PMC. Plus, there are a lot of issues now. The AI is laggy, they shoot at fellow scav players even if you never shot one of the, and the players seem to lag much more which has made them lose a lot of gear as well. When I went to dorms and got the guns, I saw players glitching and being beamed with bullets because of the server lag.

It should not be that hard for the devs to fix the bug so, why is it there in the first place? This has been an ongoing thing for a while. It is the best game I have ever played so I am not trying to complain. I just see it as a unfair advantage for most of us.
