modding and stash bug?

Hi.

Is anyone else getting a critical bug where you accidentally mod your stashed weapon but the parts are taken from your equipped weapons in hands?

I've experienced this bug twice and the tech support takes too long (10 days or more). Can anyone help me with this? I've already lost 2 M4s. Also, my first weapon slot is greyed out and I can no longer equip any weapons on the first slot - getting moving item error. Any constructive comments are appreciated. Thanks!

Got this EXACT same error last night while modding a weapon. Somehow the parts were taken off my weapon on the sling. It made that gun on the sling go red, couldnt add the part back onto it, and couldnt remove the gun from the slot. Quit game, rejoined, gun was gone (spewing!) and slot now wont accept weapons...

Advice given to me was to go into game with only a pistol, leave both weapon slots empty. after raid it should be fixed. I gave it a go, and it worked!

Strangely tho, after the raid i got an insurance message sayin prapor was goin to fetch my gear... didnt lose any. The gun i lost was insured so maybe i will get it back in a day or so???

Anyway hope it works for u 2.

Yesterday I also experienced the bug where the parts were taken from the weapon I had equipped instead of the stash while modding a weapon. I was no longer able to unequip the weapon until I had manually put the parts back, left the view, and returned to the view.

I haven't tried your way but I killed myself with F-1 in hidden bushes. fixed the slot glitches but lost my M4... it was insured but Preppor didn't bring me anything. sigh... and same bug happened again twice.. I'm hoping that would at least issue me a M4.

Let's see how this goes.

I just took them from the weapon that received the items and dragged them to the equipped weapon.

so wait you can still put parts back to bugged weapons in your hands? that's possible?

At least in my case it worked. After the weapon is functional again, you will still need to leave your inventory and then return in order to have it displayed directly, but drag & drop was possible to add the items necessary.

ARGGGHH i didn't know lol wasted 2 M4 =(
