Pistol draw and holsters

I've been thinking on this and it may not be possible. But considering our main characters are military we should be able to draw our pistol (if we have a rifle) quickly. Have some sort of weapon strap you can buy and attach to your rifle that will assist with drawing the pistol faster. I think it would be nice to drop our rifle and it be on a strap around our character so he can quickly draw his sidearm. Maybe have different holsters you can have for different pistols and be able to choose whether the sidearm is in a thigh holster, hip or rig mount holsters. It would be awesome to be able to just double tap 1 and be able to drop the rifle and it hang and get a fast draw of the pistol.  Granted if we have the strap and draw our pistol, it should take an extra second to get the rifle back up after re holstering the sidearm. Maybe the time should be what it is now to change primary weapons with half second more to re holster

Planned. Weapon transition speeds will be improved. Nikita has even hinted at a "let of rifle" action that let it fall on the sling and aid in quickly switching to your sidearm.

Oh that sounds like a neat feature. Can't wait for that to happen.
