lfaudreejr
First, I want to say you all have a great game idea here and it is truly addicting. Unfortunately, performance is so poor it is hard to enjoy it to its fullest. I am running an i5-9400f with 32gb DDR4-3200, 1TB SSD, RTX 2060 and I am running a stuttering mess of 30-40fps with all settings low/off except high on textures and shadows. I have a fresh BIO, chipset drivers, and Video drivers. When can we expect some increase in performance optimizations? Thank you!
crittz
2700x, ssd 16gb ram and a Gforce 870 and avg 90-100 fps (on Interchange mostly). Recently capped my fps to 60 just for smoothness during fights. I dont have it on low settings either, to put the load mostly on the gfx card, these are my settings if it helps:- Make sure to add tarkov to your A/V exceptions list (or just turn it off to test). jonesskill
i9 9900k + 32GB ram (4200mhz but running at 2400 because of unity`s crashes) + Rtx 2080TI. At 2k - 40-60FPS on Reserv. At 1080p - 60-90Fps on Reserv.
Speedx
I have a similar setup - 9400f, 1070 and 16GB Ram and I'm getting way above 60fps consistently. I think RAM might be your issue. The 9400f supports 2666Mhz natively and if you're running it underclocked it might cause issues with the game.
PizzaBasil
This is a stretch but what do you have your power settings on in additional power settings? For some reason the game hates it when I use high performance with my i7-7700k but when I turn it down to balanced and use only physical cores with the ingame settings my fps is fine. Your settingsm might be incorreclty configured if your game is running that badly. My system is much worse and the game runs average 50-70fps most of the time. I have a i7-4770k , gtx 770, 16gb ddr4 2666 and a 128gb ssd. Edited February 13, 2020 by rybaterro
lfaudreejr
I guess it was something with the new update. I uninstalled and reinstalled the game and it runs much better. Around 70fps on average. I still think there are too many lag spikes, but i understand this is a beta.

My dude, check your power settings as some of these guys have suggested. Also, make sure to check your NVIDIA control panel settings and make sure you don't have some wonky settings for the game. Another thing you should do is locate your EscapeFromTarkov.exe and right click and follow these steps: Right click -> Properties Compatibility tab: [X] Disable fullscreen optimizations Click your Change high DPI settings and look at the bottom for: [X] Override high DPI scaling behavior. Scaling performed by: Application This will help you with some serious FPS / crashing issues. Screenshots attached for you.
