I suddenly got killed by an invisible scav?

Is there a bug here that rarely occurs that makes you suddenly get damaged and then insta die when you approach the big red in customs?
Seriously I suddenly died from an unknown scav where no shots or even models are visible or heard. Getting insta black arms and then die suddenly. 
Worst is that I was fighting 4 man group pmc then that happens is this rare?

Doenst play the map often...but i think there are 1,2 a sniper scav on this map.

could be anything dude we was a 3 man squad getting hit from no where, we all die to a twitch steamer, turns out after going to stream hidden sniping at over 300m, you cant hear the shots just feel the hits,     i thought omg hacker then i realize the suppressed m700 or svds is very very quiet at range,        now that area is very open and lots of places to snipe from so could just be a player
