PvE (Offline) Characters

Good day fellow Tarkovians!

My suggestion is very simple, enable PvE only characters that can loot and keep it, upgrade their hideout, etc. Make a strict distinction between PvP and PvE characters so a PvP charater is not able to join PvE maps and markets and a PvE character is not able to join PvP maps and markets.

Why you might ask, if you haven't already answered under this post by screaming for more PvP? Well, it helps the game grow. I play offline mode for the most part and I believe you can attract more costumers which might even join the PvP community at the end. Let's remember Armored Warfare, a competitor to World of Tanks. The game was loved by many for it's PvE content and lost many players when the PvE part was deleted.

Be smart and get the carebears (like me) a PvE only mode with loot, market, hideout.... you know, the features we love in PvP mode. Sales will only increase and it won't take anything away from the PvP players.

Anyways, think about it. Your game is great, let more people see it!

@JHS This may sound like a good idea until you're 30 raids in without dying once and you're going up against scavs only with class 6 armour and a kitted M4, that's going to get boring very fast.

Devs said that there won't be an offline mode to the game to that extend. Please use the search function on the forums as similar threads like yours have been made countless times.

 

BattleState Games is also developing an offline game very similar to EFT, called "Russia 2028". Not sure how their progression with that goes but it might be worth following if that floats your boat more.

Well, just trying to show the game to a broader audience.My friends all like the game but dismiss it once I mention PvP.

Thanks @Shuiy for the tip, I will keep my eyes and ears open for Russia 2028!
