quick question!

I was playing as a Scav on customs tonight. And I was just walking up to gas station to check it for any loot. And the minute I get there I saw a scav just standing there idle. So the minute I walk up on him. I immediately was headshot right into the 'head, top of head' as the game says. And he just sharp turned towards me. Like no human Ive ever seen. I was wondering if that was a result of a hacking problem, or maybe I'm missing something. It most certainly wasn't a scav boss. (see image below!) so I'm just trying to figure out what it was.

Sorry! I forgot about this entire forum. But no, I didnt. Thats why I figured it was a player scav. He was surrounded by dead bodies aswell.

It was a player scav guarding the find.

Or

A boss scav guard guarding the area.

Well, I know it certainly wasn't the scav boss. Cause he didn't have any of the names that Rashala and the boys have. So I'm assuming he was a player scav. Which is why Im confused on if he was a hacker or if he just somehow managed to one tap the top of my head with pure luck. Not taking into consideration that he did the most inhuman turn I ever saw. You couldn't even see him turn, he just snapped to his left and shot me.

Cheating exist so its possible.

Could have also just been lag, regardless better luck next time.

Thanks! I was just like, super confused. I figured it was a cheater cause obiviously they'd do it on a scav so you cant get their player name.

Sniper scav is also near gas station.

- Could be the sniper scav, but you were a scav and didnt aggro other scavs so i'd rule this one out

- Could have been a boss or one of his guards.  defininitely not a boss as the name that killed you isnt a boss

- Could have been a player scav pretending to be AI.  This has happened to me a few times.  I spare a scav that is blatantly walking around because i don't want to aggro AI at that time.  turns out it was a player just pretending to be a dumb bot so he can assess his situation.  I knew it was a player because my buddy had eyes on me from a distance and saw the guy loot my body after got killed.  That fake AI didnt make it out alive though so i was happy lol.
