Group matchmaking putting us in separate games?

Has anyone else had this problem and how to avoid it? Nearly every time I matchmake with my friend he goes into a game and I am still matching. How does this even happen?

We wait until we are both in a group and then ready up. But it still puts us in two different games

Yes! My fiancee and I had that problem as well. If you *stay* matching it seems to generally late spawn you (sometimes really late for some reason) into the same match. She got in once inside the customs office yard several minutes into a raid and I had spawned over by trailer park. 

Dunno what the cause is, but it does seem to happen. Until they patch it, I recommend just letting matching run its course and hope for the best. 

 

Out of curiosity, are you both on the same router or in different locations?

We are at different locations, i'm glad I am not the only one having this problem

Well that debunks my theory that it was related to the same gateway. Try waiting in matching and see what happens. I haven't had this problem long enough to know if getting into the same match was just chance or by design.
