Realism vs Stability

I was curious, I looked to see if any devs formally answered whether kill cams are being considered to catch the rather massive hacking issues and couldnt find anything. But I was curious as to the opinions of others, I posted once in the suggestions but it didnt get much traction so I figured I might get more responses in General. At what point do players give up some of the hardcore elements of Tarkov for improved game health/stability. Do you think an after all pmcs have extracted kill cam would be beneficial to the health of the game overall even though youre giving up some of the realism of this game? Are there any hardcore elements you're interested in but not sure how well they'd fit in the game? I know the carry weight update has quite a few people concerned about its overall effect on the game as well even though its much more realistic. Im definitely curious as to what you all think!

I personally dont see the benefits of a kill cam for game health.

We have a anti cheat that is constantly worked and improved on that should take care of cheaters etc...

Even if you could see a vid of someone killing you ,you as a player could not 100% say yes this is a cheater.

What i would like is something like a after action report mainly for teamplay or a kind of gopro one could attach to a helmet to record your gameplay.

I hope i could contribute to your topic in a good way and sorry for my english.

Your english is fine! There is always going to be a fight between cheaters, and the anti cheat. Although there are times when you watch a death cam that you might not be able to tell someone is cheating, there are other times that you can! Its one thing featured in for example the anti cheat and overwatch CSGO uses, where you can physically see people wallhacking as they trace you through a wall, zero recoil hacks, flight hacks, spawn hacks etc. Of course any good cheater will try to make it as least obvious as possible but it definitely helps, and should help catch cheaters who are blatant with their hacks. The anti cheat will ALWAYS be behind any reputable cheat source, based on how the game works. Cheat source makes new cheat/changes cheat, anti cheat devs learn about it and update it, then cheat source pauses the availability of a cheat for a day or 2 then re updates the cheat to remain as undetected as possible. Going through some forums, some players havent been caught for upwards of 2 years, while others who are more blatant and use single option cheats could get banned in a week or so. Personally I could see this really helping to remove hackers, as you can see and record things from their point of view. IE if you get headshot, and you dont see where they are of course you cant "record" that, but if you have a kill cam you can record yourself getting traced and headshot through a wall/door. Or from across the map, or where there isnt line of sight etc. As much as I love the realism, I'd be willing to give up this inch for a more healthy game.

They could then set up a killcam that the devs could review.?!

If players would review a killcam they would always (not all of them 😜 )scream cheater.

If players could review the kill cams they would have evidence to call cheater, or they would have clear evidence that they lost the gun fight fair and square. Plus you never know what you can catch, flight hacks are out there, noclip is out there etc. Not every kill cam just has to be an aimbot. But at that point they'd have a clear direction to go in, and I think would reduce the amount of spam the poor devs get about cheaters because they know they'd be in the wrong if the evidence doesnt support them. There will ALWAYS be those who call cheater no matter what though youre right about that lmao
