SelkN
Still struggling to get to level 10 so I can get back on the Flea Market and get some kind of satisfaction out this experience. Finally decide to load up a character with all the armor I've got and try to creep a scavenging Factory run. I spawn in the NE side tunnel behind some boxes, creep forward and get dropped in two shots from a silenced gun down the hall. Not sure which direction the guy was even in. Neat. Bwee
I'd recommend playing one map and learn all the ins and outs of it. Start with offline mode and learn all extracts, loot spawns, player spawns, etc. Then you can bump up scav count in offline mode. Play some scav runs on that map and then when you're finally comfortable with it, take your PMC there.
SelkN
I'm already pretty comfortable with the layout of Factory. All I really run is Factory (mostly SCAV runs there) and I'll try to scavenge and stealth some Reserve runs because it's the map I know the best. This Dredded player added me as a friend but I accidentally deleted the request and now I can't find him.
SelkN
If you're out there, Dredded, I'm sorry. I think I accidentally blocked your friend request. I'm not sure how to unblock players from this game. The in-game interface is difficult to navigate/isn't very intuitive to me yet.
TheCh1mera
Factory is actually a really hard map, but if you can get okay on it you'll be really on your way to becoming a good tarkov player. It's what I did too, and definitely struggled in the beginning. Key tips are to use headsets if you're not doing so already. The cheap ones are actually pretty good - prioritise this over armour or a helmet. Learn the audio cues and try holding angles against players pushing you more. Jitter peek every corner. If you do these 4 things you'll get better. Make sure you're checking every angle as you advance, don't be lazy.. and again, AUDIO is absolutely king.
