Insurance Returns acting Funny?

A buddy of mine and myself have been playing a lot recently. The last four days we have started to notice something odd with the insurance returns. As a disclaimer we have both watched our streams and have known each other for years so we know it is being dropped. We are finding that if we are running a M1 with a Reaper, only the reaper will be returned but not the gun, or half of the items will be returned while others are lost. I.E slick armors, Fast MTs, Steel 60 Mags. We have gone as much as to wait until there is 1 minute left in a match die, and watch the insurance and still only some of it gets returned even though everything is being insured. Is anyone else experiencing this?

yup i used my character other day and i always insure. 3 days ago i died using him with stuff insured. never got notice in messages they going to get stuff or even stuff returned....still waiting as to why....why i paid to insure...
