launcher

tried to launch the launcher and i get a popup that says unhandled exception Error reading JObject from JsonReader. Path ", line 0, position 0.

 

i can not run the launcher, have tried restarting my pc several times and still does it

so i uninstalled, and re installed everything and was able to get in game, i checked my hideout and then closed the game normally, a couple hours later and i tried to play the game and the launcher says im still in game. i close the launcher through task manager and when i try to run the launcher i got that same error as before, and the only way to get rid of the error and to get the launcher to work is to uninstall and reinstall

Cause something is corrupting your settings file.

it wasnt malware related, my pc is scanned daily for viruses and malware and none were detected. the issue has since been resolved.
