I need a good way to level strength

I've been trying to get my strength to lvl 3 for my hideout. I know about the 48.75kg and throwing grenades but it seems to be not as much? I've just done 4 factory raids in a row, each throwing 4 smoke grenades and by the 0.125 logic I should have 2 points in strength. Instead I've gone up 0.9 in total. The first raid giving me the expected 0.5 xp, but each one after that gave me anywhere from 0.1 to 0.2. I've heard of a burnout so you cannot level it too quickly, but really?

Also, any tips/tricks to level it? Maps/backpack/weights etc.

I was almost there before the reset (1.4 xp away from lvl 3 Rrrgg!)

Personally, I just play the game and the levels will come. Some people choose to power level but I think its looked down upon. The game is still in Beta and is constantly going through wipe cycles. I would recommend just enjoying the game because all the power leveling is going to be a waste of time in a couple months when the servers wipe again.

That's not the issue here. I was letting my strength level up naturally and was almost to lvl 3 for the vents. Now with the reset to strength, I'm stuck leveling it over again. The real issue comes in that I have a lot of hideout upgrades that ultimately hinge on generator lvl 3 which needs vents lvl 3. It isn't about getting it to a really high level, it's about upgrading my damn hideout.

Just loaded up with a bunch of shotgun shells, about a half a million rubles worth, and some cheap armor and a saiga. Walked around for about 20 minutes on Shoreline trying to hide. Killed by a scav. Zero strength points gained. 

This is really stupidly designed.
