I would love to se the option to tag the magazines. A color tag, equal to what we can do to the Cases would be sufficient. 

This is actually realistic. We do this in real life. Usually mark magazine according to the ammo type.

you can bind your mags (in rig slot or pockets) to numbers just as meds and pistols and stuff, so you can take the cheap ammo for scavs and expensive for geared guys...however i wouldnt recommend that type of switching (no matter if shortcut or colored tagged) because it will happen often that you dont have the time to switch to the "correct" ammo for a fight

For now anyways, you can also run different mags for the weapons that have variants  ie; plum 74 mags for BP or 5.45 pmags for BT. the options are endless with 5.56 too!
