Sound issue

Hey is anyone else having a problem with not hearing people walk? When I first started playing u could use sound to out play anyone. Now people and scavs are just pooping up right in front of you with no sound at all. I was in a 3 man on shoreline we all jumped down from 2nd to 1st floor on resort and no one heard the other person land and we were all still grouped together.

Never experienced problems with the sounds of movement. Try a variety of gaming active headphones for better sound audibility.

Since the last patch I experience the same.

Even though wearing headsets ingame it happens so often that there are no steps at all and suddenly i get tap shot in the head.

It really p***es me off that I lose my hard earned money and/or equipment because of this.

Just a few minutes ago, I was pushed by a Duo and killed both.

Checked around, noone there.

Started looting the first one and in an instant heard a scope.

Stopped looting right that moment but already got single tapped in the head.

Where the hell can a player come from at the side of adik, where there is no exit but a long hallway without ANY steps within seconds?

The game is just frustrating since the last patch besides the mass of cheaters lately... 😠

Hi PMCs,

This was a major update patch/fix/update. Ergo, require more work to be polished.

On the subject of sound, they are adjusting settings (most likely) due to the upcoming implementation of Steam Audio.
