Escapers! Here are the highlights of what was said during the latest TarkovTV Devblog:

  • Patch 0.12.5 is planned for the beginning of next week after it there will be 0.12.6, there is no exact release date yet. At the moment, testing is underway and the patchnote for patch 0.12.6 is not ready yet.
  • The wipe will take place in 0.12.6, however, we will save the progress of examining items and weapon presets.
  • Before wipe, for 3-4 days, there will be pre-wipe events, info about them will be reported closer to the point.
  • After the wipe, at the flea market, you will only allowed to sell items that have found in raid status.
  • "Run through" status-will reset the “found in raid " status from items.
  • Patch 0.12.5 will be without content, it contains fixes, optimization and new mechanics (quick treatment by therapist, mouse sensitivity depending on the multiplicity of the sight, and so on).
  • It is planned to rework loot on locations, its spawn locations, and the loot pools themselves.
  • Random places with loot are planned. Also, it is planned to introduce a feature so that the AI will protect places with valuable loot.
  • The first part of skill system rework will be in 0.12.7.
  • Regarding Steam Audio: the developers of Hired Ops asked BSG for a module to implement in their game (HOps). Positioning already works cool, it becomes clear where the enemy is, not just on the left or right, but also behind and above your position or in front and below. The game will have Steam Audio in 0.12.6. You can check this feature out already in Hired Ops.
  • A new caliber will be added to the game .45 ACP and several weapons samples are planned for it. In 0.12.6 there will be Colt 1911, later UMP and Kriss Vector.
  • Almost the entire team of level designers is working on a new location — Streets of Tarkov. Nikita confirmed that there will be up to 40 players on the map. Developers like the idea that you can get lost on location. The screenshot showed a helicopter flying near one of the high-rise buildings.
  • Work is underway on new equipment for the scavs-cheap, bad-looking-something like survival gear.
  • It is planned to rebalance various thermal imagers after adding more of them.
  • New boss for the Shoreline location, name: Sanitar. Not much of a fighter, who uses stimulants. Also, he will have various unique stimulants in his inventory. One of them is MULE, for carrying weights and another with interesting effects called " Obdolbos”, the development of the Sanitar himself.
  • Customs expansion is planned for 0.12.6. One of the new buildings will be the base for Reshala and his crew. Perhaps there will be an underground level at the new part of the location, or at some building.
  • In 0.12.7 or 0.12.8 it's planned to add a USP pistol in three variants at once.
  • Demonstrated more detailed customization of weapons on the example of Colt 1911.
  • Demonstrated a work in progress video of the PPSH. The introduction of PPSH in the game looks logical and realistic, since there are many military warehouses on the territory of Russia, where a large number of PPSH is stored.
  • About cheaters: every day from 1500 to 2000 dishonest players are banned. Approximately 50,000 dishonest players were blocked in March. This month it is expected that there will be more of them. The team is constantly working with the BattlEye developers.
  • The game will have a system of reports: both on suspiciously acting players, and on all sorts of exploits, bugs, and obscene nicknames.
  • Post-FX filters will be introduced in patch 0.12.5. NVIDIA has prematurely disabled its FreeStyle filters. They are now working again, but they will be completely disabled starting from May 1. Support for NVIDIA Highlights will also be disabled since this system was used by cheaters.
  • Items taken from players in raid will still not have the "found in raid" status.
  • Barters for dogtags will continue to be added. Conditions for bartering with dogtags are planned to be revised (quantity, levels).
  • About the cultists: Nikita refused to talk about it, the players will see for themselves when they are added. In which patch? In any.
  • Unity is scheduled to be updated to version 2019. This will give devs even more tools for optimizing and developing the project.
  • They work with spawns on maps all the time. Bugs are being fixed. Spawn points are edited constantly, including the ones based on feedback from players. The following patches will also bring changes for spawns fixing.
  • With the wipe, there will also be changes in the VAL/VSS characteristics.
  • In post-raid treatment, you will be able to see statistics on damaged parts of the body — injuries (where, how, and with what cartridge). More detailed reports may be added in the future.
  • Customization of armored rigs and plate carriers is quite a big and serious feature. Most likely it will be added in patch 0.13, along with Streets of Tarkov .
  • Compass: possibly in 0.12.7.

I love that this will massively make progression slow down. There will be tears, just not mine.  Early-Mid game is Tarkovs best. Stick to your guns BSG. 👊

Found-in-Raid-Item only for survived players. All players need a reason for them, to survive all raids

Do you have to survive for the found-in-raid status? that would be a massiv improvement and encvourage players to try to escape from tarkov

So your telling me when I kill some loser I cant sell their poo? what the hell kind of crap is that???? you are turning this game into some roleplay bullshit I for dear god hope you do not go through with that horrible idea! the flea market is what makes the game and your destroying it 100% rethink your ideas and focus on stuff that matters THANKS!

Terrible Idea! I should be able to flea market what ever I get in the game why am I restricted it makes zero sense and destroys the flea market and forces people to sell everything from players to traders and get 70% less restricting a barter process is for sure what was not needed currently I felt the FM was solid

Do you know the real money trades? All cheater are them and they use the Flea Market.

Yes I know of course but that's only going to make them venture places elsewhere than labs to look for big items in the other maps You will see...

@ShiroTenshi Thank you for creating the podcast summary. Making this maybe hard work. By keeping a record in the forum, each country's Emissary will translate and players in more countries will know the "exact information". This is very important. I hope this will continue in the future. I read it in detail! Thank you.

Flea market is the worst idea implemented. It completely disables progression system. Before shitmarket, you had to bring something from the raid if you could not buy it, or progress to be able to buy it from a trader. Now you just buy whatever you want.

It enables cheaters to sell ingame currency for real money. It takes up server resources= increased infrastructure cost. Somebody has to work on it all the time = increased manpower cost. The worst is wasted performance of the servers.

I honestly do not understand why people want the feature that is so detrimental for the core of the game = Survive and bring some gear from the raid.

Cellar with all the bitcoin farming and other out of thin air income was a mistake too. The only income should come from raiding and prison wallet should be only to carry things out into raid, not to stuff a vase and a wooden cat into your bum and nade yourself after 1 minute sprint with a pistol.

Rats be bitching..... honestly love the way your dealing with abusers Guys keep it up. now the game is gonna be balanced through most of the ranks Instead of whoever gets to the top first gets rich and all the low level rats and fake Chad's buy there gear off the flea market. 

 

BTW for survive in raid you must either kill roughly 3 scavs and loot them or get a lot of loot xp to clear the minimum threshold. 

So hatchet and pistol runners are in the poo now as they never bring bags so they better practice there kekw aim.

GREAT, this had to be done since the first day of the fleamarked! No more buying all the ammo (probably with bots) and selling it 10times more expensive.

Thats interesting, clearly focused against hatchlings but for me, i dont get the whole problematics with the hatchlings, wish in my raids there would be only hatchlings^^

Yep, its time for it. There are keys and places hard to get but the content behind the door is worthless, meanwhile you can find both red lab key cards without any key (not saying it shouldnt be like this, but the balance is not the best). It would be also good to have no safe spots of items, more variety would help definitely to have more interesting raids.

OUTCH, for a free to play game, this would be already a lot (depending on what game, fortnite not, but i guess EFT dont have a playerbase like fortnite). THIS clearly shows that EFT has an EXTREME problem with cheaters, 1500 PER DAY for a game with i dont know, maybe 500k players daily ( i guess at max, would be interesting to hear from the devs what the real numbers are, but the truth please ;))

MEH, report for obscene names ok, but dont "trick" me with your report button. you guys have 2 anticheats (your own and BE) and want me to believe that my pressing of a button will affect something? Its not like your anticheat does not run permanently... to report suspicious players... suspicious... BSG Team, ALL deaths in EFT are suspicious, specially with those lags and freezes... what we NEED is a killcam after a raid, in this way we could report 100% cheaters and not only "suspicious" ones... the button will be maltreatet and abused and it will help for nothing cause 90% of people will press report...

Overall for the patch is really interesting and towards cheaters and hatchlings. Some points was necessary almost years ago. GJ and thanks BSG Crew

That means players won't be able to run to a high value loot spawn and then immediately head to extract with the gear and have it count as 'found in raid'. You will have to earn enough XP in the raid to not get a run-through.

But still. its a huge number. And it makes sense that the most of them are asian (china to be clearly) but its not like they play only on their own server. Its even like they play on other servers so they dont run to each other, so the other servers are infected at least as much as the asian servers, too.

1500-2000 cheaters per day is an incredible number. Probably time to double the cost for a new copy of the game. At least it kind of explains how we keep dying within 10 seconds into a raid in 3 out of 4 raids, so thanks for being honest there.
